Official Auto Transport

My initial experience with this company and *** was great
Submitted a quote request on their web site for getting a car transported from Vancouver, WA to Morrisville, NCA day later I received a descent quote from ***Called him a couple of days later to make the arrangementsHe answered on the first ring and was very professional, gave me all the details, and all and all, the call went goodI was convinced that this is a good legit company and that I will be a happy customer
As far as the timeframe for picking up the car, I had some time and told him that we are in no big rush but needed the car to be picked up anytime within the following weeksHe did not see any problems with that and was happy to hear that there was no rushHe was going to put out the transport job on the trucking sites and get a driver to transport my car to NC
Following the call, *** sent me an authorization form for the $deposit he requiredFilled it up the next day and sent it back to him with the credit card informationThe deposit was charged to my credit card right away which was just fine
Well my friends, that was the last time I ever heard from this guy or anyone from this companyI honestly think that this is all a one-man show and that he is the one who owns and runs the businessAfter a week of not hearing from anyone, I sent him a couple of emails to get an update but received no repliesThen I started calling their number and after I finally figured which one of their options actually had a voice mail set up, I left him messages And more messages, and more emailsNever heard back from him or anyone else
Needless to say, about weeks later, we disputed the $deposit with the credit card company and got the money backI eventually went with another company and the car got picked up within days and it is currently in transitI still have not heard back from this guyHe did not even have the courtesy to call me and tell me that he is having a hard time getting a driver or whatever reason was causing the delay but as he probably did not have a reason, decided to totally ignore me and left us hanging
I hope that no one else goes through this and that this company goes out of business soonThis ended up to be a horrible experience but at least I got lucky and got my deposit back
