Odd Job Handyman Service

Review: [redacted] is a not for profit statewide agency that promotes housing choice for people with disabilities and older adults living in Pennsylvania. We also provide home modifications to low income residents with physical disabilities. This program is funded by the Department of Community and Economic Development. We hired [redacted] (Odd Job Handy man services) to do home modifications for a consumer living in [redacted] County. **. [redacted] did the work incorrectly without any permits and also did not finishe the job. It cost the agency an additional 5450.00 to correct his mistakes and complete the work. **. [redacted] owes the agency 1400.00 for work uncompleted and materials not returned.We spoke several times over the phone and via e mail about this and **. [redacted] kept promising payment. On 8/8/2013 I sent a certified letter and it was returned unsigned,unopened on 10/10/2013.Desired Settlement: Ideally I would like the 1400.00 plus the additional 5450.00 for a total refund of 6850.00 because we had to go back hire new contractors and re-do everything **. [redacted] did but I doubt that is realistic so I want **. [redacted] to return to us 1400.00 for work uncompleted and materials not returned.
