Review: I have been a LONG time faithful customer of this O'Charley's restaurant location. In years past this restaurant always had great food, service and management. Recently, I visited this location twice in a week once during lunch and the other at dinner time. Both times were very dissapointing. Here are the details:
On Monday 1/13/2014 I visited this location at lunch with my sister. Our male waiter (He looked sort of from a mexican decent) was very hateful to us and we were both flabbergasted! He brought us the famous potato soup and it was watery and cold! Even brought us a second bowl that was still cold!! We seeked out the manager who arrive in a chef's outfit and he could have cared less about our experience, so we both left and went to [redacted] where we had an awesome time.
On Friday 1/18/2014 I went on a date there for dinner. I was seated in the car booth area, which was fine. The bartender (blonde lady with a Colts football "luck" jersey on) was our server. She was so unprofessional it was ridiculious! Our food was actually good this time, but the problem here was the server. She was very loud and obnoxious, yelling at her bar patron from my booth area! She was extremely sarcastic w/ other arrivals too asking them if they were hungry! Isn't that why we come to eat?!?!!? lord have mercy! Finally, I'd had enough and me and my date were so embarrassed at her behavior we checked out and left.
This place is in MAJOR need for management!! What happened to the classic O'Charley's I once knew and loved going to? Please help!Desired Settlement: I'll let the business make a decison on what's a justifiable resitution here.
Review: We waited for ten minutes for someone to take our order. During this time we heard our server trying to get other servers to take our table. After getting our order places I watched our server put on his coat and go outside. He apparently went to smoke because after waiting another 15 minutes we finally got our salads AND our food. My boyfriends order was wrong and my chicken was supposed to be drizzled in honey. My entire plate was drowning in honey and the gravy on the potatoes had obviously been sitting long enough to get a film on then. Our server wreaked of cigarette smoke. Mainly his hands when he reached across me. He apparently didn't wash his hands. We complained to the manager and he sent for a replacement plate for me. The server told us the manager was comping my order. A few minutes later our server, another server, and the manager came to the server station near us to fix our ticket, the server and the manager were both on their smart phones checking football scores. I finally had to ask them to get off of their phone so we could get our ticket and leave. The ticket was not comped at all. After another 5 minutes to fix that we were informed they could only take 20% off of our ticket. This establishment was dirty and very disappointing.Desired Settlement: I do not think we should have paid for this meal under the circumstances. This was beyond horrible service and our server just took off and when he did come back we had warm salads and hardly warm food. The manager wasn't able to improve upon the situation. He was only promoting the slacking by joining in on the cell phone use in front of U.S. and while he was supposed to be fixing their horrible service and our ticket so we could leave.
