Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I absolutely did not request a dry cleaner to get out the spotThat was not even mentioned as an option when speaking on the phone with the hotel managerI sent an email authorizing the hotel to attempt washing the blanket and to that email I received NO response from the hotelThe email below is exactly what I sent to the hotel shortly after speaking with manager on the phone:I authorize cleaner to attempt washing the blanket with "spot" on itI do not, however authorize any charge until eveidence is provided to show that the said spot did not come out OR proof that this spot did not exist before I occupied the hotel room[redacted] I might also add that I was charged $without being advised of the results of this so-called attempted "washing"Regards, [redacted]

Review: I purchased to stay in a room that had a kitchenette and ac. Howerever the kitchenette stove did not work the burners did not light, and the ac was not working. We were staying at the beach ac was an important factor due to my son's asthma which acts up in cold and humid weather conditions. The breeze way was cooler than our room. I made multiple complaints to the front desk and they never offered to switch our room to a room with ac and when I asked to speak to the manager upon check out he was not on the property so I left my phone number and ask that he call me about my complaint and see if he was able to refund me any type of money due to the inconveniece and I wasnt getting what I paid for. He never called and im very frustrated at this point.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the two nights my AC was not working($200-$250). I was not offered to be moeved to any other room. They gave me a fan which I let the air from the breeze way blow into our room it was cooler outside than it was in our own hotel room.

Review: In good faith I paid for this hotel and invited my family to stay for the entire 4th of July weekend. Once I checked in they proceeded to tell us that there was a problem with the air conditions, but they would be fixed within hours. I spent a total of 3 nights sleeping in a non air conditioned room. They did give us a fan, after we begged for one. The manager refused to acknowledge the problem was not fixed. He did not want to issue a credit or offer other arrangements for my family or myself. We were left to suffer with the problem since our stay was already paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like to speak with the owner and be credited for at the very least one entire day.

Response:

Mrs. [redacted] complained the A/C wasn't working in her room, our maintenance staff checked the A/C with a temperature gun and it was coming out of her front A/C 63 degrees and in the bedroom it was in the 50's. Mrs [redacted] was asked to keep her front door shut since it was letting in humid air and working against her A/C, we provided a fan and informed Mrs [redacted] to put the fax in the bedroom doorway and it will help cool the living room much faster, instead Mrs [redacted] put it up on top of the A/C which was against the wall thus not working properly, since Mrs [redacted] rented the room for 5 people but actually had 10 people there! Mrs [redacted] should have paid an additional $10 per night per person over 5, so for 3 nights she would have paid $150 plus tax for a total of $171. There will be no refunding of monies.
