They cleared land, dug a hole and installed a pool with all the plumbing, electrical and drains They also leveled it back out and filled it in when it was finished We also hired someone through them to do our patioIt was wonderful! The pool looks great and we're enjoying it It is easy to maintain xxxxx was our construction manager and he kept us aprise every step of the way If we needed to reach him, he was always available by phone or would stop by The service was superb, we were very satisfied! I would highly recommend them

All in all, we are very pleased with our pool project It was completed only about month ago, but we are super anxious to break it in this season The kids have already been in several times, albeit not for very extended lengths of time and this past weekend, the pool (and hot tub) was the venue for our daughters birthday party
The back yard looks incredible, freinds and neighbors describe it as a backyard oasis and we believe the pool turned out fantastic So far it has been easy to care for, bring the chemicals in line and despite some challenging winter weather during the build and internal staff changes at Anthony Sylvan was completed right on time
The contract for the pool was signed in December of Work began in January once permits were pulled and all necessary work was done to clear the area whee the pool was to be located We chose to bring together some additional contractors we had worked with previously for some parts of the project (patio & fence) but had the option of working through A&S Water was in and pumps running by the end of March
Initially all of the communication was through the site foreman, *** After the excavation and steel form was installed, I was introduced to*** the A&S scheduler *** was new to her role, but a SUPER add for A&S, she very quickly jumped in and worked really hard to help with communication and quickly became our almost daily point of contact We were also contacted a handful of times by the new A&S GM to check on the status of the project
Work occurred in bursts, very quickly and efficiently by the crews assigned At times, especially early on, communication of job specifics was challenging, but we chalk that up to the internal transitions and seemed to settle down as time went on As one would expect with a project the size of a pool install and backyard overhaul, there were times where we would have questions or concerns Some simple emails and/or phone calls resulted in timely responses from *** and the dispatching of crews to accomplish or remedy the next steps in the process
Being hands on, a bit of a perfectionist, and having never built a pool before, it was certainly a learning experience, but A&S laid out the process in all of the information and never hesitated to answer my questions or concerns If necessary they sent a crew out to make sure I was completely satisfied with the stage of work
Again, if you take on a project of this magnitude, you have to be ready for what comes with it There is a mess, bursts of activity, waiting, adjustments due to mother nature and other factors you just can't plan for At times I found myself asking what I had done, while standing in the middle of a mud pit in my back yard, however, with a lot of patience and a little bit of faith in the professionals, you *** end up with a really great finished product

They constructed a new pool in my backyardThey blended the pool into the hill in the backyard and it looks fantasticThe project manager was here very often and if I wasn't home, he would email me with updatesThey cleaned up after themselves every day- there was almost no messIt looks great and they did a super job

Anthony & Sylvan's presentation and what they proposed were better than the four other people that we interviewedWe were in constant contact nightly with the project manager via text or email of what was coming next, and they were always out here double-checking because we had just moved into our homeThe pool has a water feature and it is free-formIt looks greatIt has a great finish on it, which they recommendedAnd they did an outstanding job with the tile and coping

We had researched a couple of other pool companies and we liked how thorough Anthony & Sylvan wereThey had a specialist to go in each department while some pool builders try to do it allWe met with their designer who specializes in designing and then we worked with the general contractors who oversee the pool building and then they had other people they recommended that they worked well withSo we used them because they were used to working togetherI've had another friend go with them that also had a great experience, so that was the icing on the cake
We had a very irregular backyard which at first we didn't even know if a pool would fitSo after changing the grade of the yard and getting it to where the pool could fit in there, it turned out to be the perfect spotThey built a chlorinated pool with a spa and they also helped us design a fireplace towards the back of it that is elevated up on a hillIt's a pretty scene and it was exciting to see the whole process come to lifeThey were able to personalize thingsI have young children so it was important that I always have a place for shade in my pool and they sporadically put little spots where I could put an umbrella
They were wonderful and I'd definitely recommend themThe project manager Ray was with us through the whole processIf he was here and I was away, he would always take pictures of the project and send it to me and let me know what he thoughtThere's a ton of communication and I always felt I could pick up the phone and call or email him with any questionsThen Patty, in scheduling, is like the brain behind everythingShe does all the scheduling and manages all of these pools that they doIf one place cancels or has extra time, she would call and ask if they could come out that day

We lived in xxxxx, SC about 10 years ago and they installed a pool for us. It was fabulous, the workmanship, the professionalism, and the timing. Everything was great. Now we live in xxxxx and we want a new pool installed. We did our research around here, and no one compares. We wanted Anthony & Sylvan Pools back. We contacted them, and they are willing to come 90 miles out of their way to install a new pool for us. They have gone above and beyond. A+.

Installed an in-ground pool outside of my house. It was a great experience. They had excellent customer support from the beginning to the end. They helped walked me through the entire process. Everyone I worked with was very helpful. They had several members on a team working with me, each explaining their specific role. They offered to help me get set up with a pool service company, as they just do the installation and construction aspect of the job.

We have now built 3 separate pools with Anthony Sylvan in the xxxxx area over the last 10 years and could not be happier! Occasionally, as in all construction processes, you run into a problem. What we have consistently seen with Anthony and Sylvan is that they 100% stand up for their product, regardless if it was their people or subcontractors.
We have not had any problems with pool equipment, have found their recommendations to be spot on, and maintain our pool ourselves with very little effort.
We felt it was important to do business with a company that is bigger than just one pool designer and have not been disappointed.

We've planned on getting a pool for the last five years. We're from [redacted] and there was no room to have a pool there, so coming down to North Carolina with a nice piece of property, we thought a pool was a must-have. And I got some good feedback from my aunt who had an Anthony & Sylvan pool built seven years ago. I had done a lot of research on pools and pools company too, but I didn't know little things like where would you like the sun to hit you when your pool is built. So, I loved that the pool we got from Anthony and Sylvan answered questions that I didn't even know we had. Our pool's beautifully constructed and it's pretty much everything that was designed in the consultant portion of the process. It's also easy to maintain and that's the best part which my husband loves.

My project manager was also amazing. He visited the site every time we had a major phase go by, even with the depth building and the coping, he was always accessible. He was laid back, but whenever we did have a question, the response time was amazing. And the scheduler was also outstanding. We couldn't be happier.

We moved here from Arizona in 2006 and we've always had pools out there so we've been wanting to get one since then. We had Anthony & Sylvan build a free-form pool for us. Our decking is Travertine Pavers and we have a nice tanning shelf with little bubbler. I like the shape that we picked with the benches in it and the tanning shelf. The tanning shelf is my favorite then the deck jets which are fun. Our Project Manager was a wonderful gentleman. He was happy, positive and provided good information. What he said was going to happen, happened. Our scheduler was communicative, polite and very prompt in getting back with us.

Had a 500ft2 gunite pool put in last fall. Pool is beautiful and we could not be happier with it. Our only regret was not having it put in earlier in the year. The pool was finished in early November so it was too cold to use last year. We can't wait to use it this year. My children have loved splashing around the edge all winter. I would not hesitate for a second to have them install another pool for me. We were going to go with a vinyl lined pool from a different builder but after xxxxx presentation and breaking down the cost difference it was an easy decision to go with a gunite pool from Anthony & Sylvan. The beautiful pool we now have should last a lifetime.

Anthony & Sylvan provided inground saltwater pool design, construction, and operational instruction services for our new home's backyard. We met with two other companies but A&S was the only company that recognized and addressed the serious drainage problem in our backyard. That, plus the company's national reputation and neighbor endorsements, and xxxx expertise and superior customer service sold us on the company. xxxxx in conunction with xxxxx, the project manager, stayed engaged with us throughout the construction. They worked alongside the subcontractors who removed trees, installed the hardscaping around the pool, designed and installed the final landscaping and irrigation, and provided pool operation and maintenance instruction.

We are educated consumers, having owned a large, enclosed, inground pool in Florida. We are extremely pleased with A&S. xxxxx met with us several times to understand our success criteria and presented us with a computer-aided design that enabled us to visualize the constructed pool on our property. He willingly tweaked the plan until it was just right. He then took care of the permitting process and worked with us to get Home Owner Association approval. Although ours was the smallest design A&S constructs, xxxxx made us feel important. His knowledge and engaging personality made the planning fun. When construction began, xxxxx became our primary contact and main liaison with the subs. He directed the work from removal (and repair) of our fencing to allow machinery access to replacement of the stairway leading to the pool deck from our porch at project completion. His crew encased our screened porch with plastic to minimize dust intrusion during application of the gunnite, and throughout the process they were meticulous about cleanup and safety. Despite weather challenges, the schedule went very smoothly. Whenever we had questions or concerns, we contacted xxxxx and got immediate response. From the beginning of construction in October 2014 to punch list completion in March 2015, we were highly satisfied with A&S.
