This company refuses to pay STAY AWAY FROM THEM! The Worst company I have ever had to deal with with! I was involved in an accident with one of their insurers on 3/3/they were found at fault for the accident my car is now ready to be picked up and my deductible needs to be paid they wont answer my calls or emailsalmost months into this claim and they still haven't accepted liability! I really don't know what else to do Morgan & Morgan is next from hereHow could this insurance company still be open? Nothing but bad reviews you should be a shame of your self's and all the scams you guys are responsible for!

Ocean Harbor writes property insurance here in NY The company handles all claims professionally and they are very easy to deal with

Trying to file a claim but no one has returned messages or answered the claims lineYour insured hit my vehicleI have all the information for the claim but have nowhere to file

On February 19th, I was struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian and suffered a traumatic brain injury, shattered numerous bones, and was left in critical condition in the hospital for over weeks The driver was insured by Ocean Harbor and my lawyer sent them a demand letter to which they replied back with a reservation of rights letter stating that they do not have sufficient information to determine if the policy holder has coverage and they need to investigate That letter was sent on 8/29/ Since then, my lawyers have not heard anything back from them They have ignored repeated letter's sent to them from my lawyer This company is a fraud and I am now permanently disabled Please, for the love of god, shut this business down I will now be suing the driver personally since it is impossible to deal with Ocean Harbor Casualty Insurance

Lets start by saying this business is the WORST insurance company Ive ever had to deal with and intend on cancelling my insurance as soon as I finish writing this review
I was involved in an accident about weeks ago and the very same day called and filed a claim I have never been in an accident before and they totally took advantage of that in telling me all kinds of different information from all the different people I spoke with At the time I was concerned as to how much money I was going to have to come out of pocket Person A told me that because I had FULL COVERAGE insurance, that I would come out of pocket $as long as the damages were above my deductible which was $ They told me what body shop to take my car to, which I did Of course the shop took forever to do the repairs, which in the meantime I had to do a combo of renting a vehicle (which was NOT covered, which im not sure why as I have FULL COVERAGE) and taking Uber when I couldn't afford the rental anymore I called a second time to verify if I had to pay anything once my car was repaired as I was getting a little anxious and wanted to verify again that I was NOT going to have to come out of pocket which they verified FOR THE SECOND TIME and told me they would be mailing me a check for the $ I felt great about this insurance company at this timeFinally my car was ready to be picked up and to my surprise, the guy at the repair shop told me I had to pay a total of $in order for me to pick up the car Now before totally freaking out, I thought Id give my insurance company a call to verify everything for a third timeCoincidently, the offices were closed as of 3pm (which to me is totally absurd for a business to close at that time because anyone who works full time would never have the time to call and speak to anyone within those hours ESPECIALLY because your always put on hold for a solid 30-min before anyone even picks up the phone to speak with you) Finally I was given the name if *** *** to contact via email, which I did, she responded back to me in a very short and stern way, to which I then replied for her to give me a call Now once I called her, that when things went from bad to worse She has to be the rudest, most unfriendly and definitely NOT customer service orientated person Ive ever spoke with I kept asking her to walk me through the process and told her that I spoke to people that told me different information than what was toldher response was " Well no one from this company would ever tell you that you wouldn't have to pay out of pocket" When I told her not only did someone tell me this once, someone told me this twice, and I told her that Im sure that she would be able to look into the system to see who was the last person I spoke with, and her response was " no, we don't do that" Then I told her that Im just trying to understand the entire claim process, and where the ball was dropped and she told me "it was probably your insurance agent" which AI never even spoke to my insurance agent, spoke to ocean harbor from day and bI think its kind of unprofessional to try and pass the buck as to who is to blame for the miscommunication instead of trying to help me further After that, I told her again, "im trying to understand" and she immediately cut me off and told me "Well what don't you get? you have to pay $500, your the one who signed the paper to pay the deductible" with a slight chuckle in her tone of voice Now at this point, I told her that she was extremely rude and hung up the phone on her
At the end of the day I will have to pay the $which it is what it is, however I never expected to be treated the way I was by mrs *** ***, and im in total awe as how they were blatantly trying not take any accountability as to the times information was miscommunicated to me and instead trying to pass the buck on my insurance agent (which by the way I never even spoke to because I contacted Ocean Harbor directly from day 1) So If I could give this company ZERO stars I would and If I could rate her as an adjuster, I would give her zero stars as well, make her take a class on CUSTOMER SERVICE as well Im actually finding relief that I plan on cancelling my insurance with them the moment I finish my review

THIS INSURNACE COMPANY REFUSES TO CONTACT THEIR INSURED TO GET ANY CLAIM RESOLVED WHEN CALLING IN, THEY SAY IT TAKES 2-DAYS TO GET A RESPONSEAFTER WEEKS, I STILL HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WE PAY FOR SERVICES AND GET NO SERVICE IN RETURN

I have filed a complaint against Ocean Harbor Casualty (AFA Claims Services) with the CA State Insurance Commissioner also because they are being willfully deceitful with their contact methodsNo voicemail or even a central line is available for claimants to contactI had to contact my insurance company to even get a legitimate contact and then when a contact was given they were conveniently on vacationAnd everyday the claims adjuster is on vacation a different day
Willfully deceiving clients and making communication complicated so a claimant will drop their suit or case is abhorrentTheir business practices are unethical and they should be held accountable for dodging their legal responsibility to settle claims

WORST COMPANY EVER! I REPEAT WORST COMPANY EVER! It’s takes them a really long time for all their claimsThey are just here to take people’s money and not do anything about itIf you get into an accident, beware because they take and extremely long time to even call back to select a body shopThen, they don’t even take any actionI have full coverage with this company and they haven’t done anything but take the car out of the towing companyIt’s been months since the accidentSuch a piece of crapNow I’m jobless because they haven’t done anythingScrew them

Their insured driver dropped a washing machine on my car on 5/24/I filed a claim the following day with a white form from Clearwater PoliceThe insurance agent Herminia *** said the white form was not enough and they needed a police reportThe officer that responded to the scene filed a police reportNow Ocean Harbor is not picking up their phones or responding to emails after I went out of my way to make sure everything was filedEven the officer said it was weird that they did not honor the white form and that it was their job to get a police report
Basically a whole month has elapsed, I want my car fixed, their driver was 100% at fault, and I went out of my way to provide the documentation

This company refuses to pay claimsThey had me take my car into be repaired after hurricane IrmaAnd then refused to cover my claimThey came up with some Luke warm reason that they could not cover the repairsAnybody considering using this companyI seriously suggest you consider using some onrle else

Ocean Harbour Casualty: This business does not answer their phonesI haven't had my car for three months because they are not doing there jobI've sent multiple emails no repliesI am getting so fed up and I don't know what to do anymoreThis insurance company ruined my lifeI would never recommend anyone this insurance companyThey are slow in processing your case and the customer service is horrible

Ocean Harbor is the worst insurance company ever to resolve customers complaintMy car was racked by one of their policy holderI called to file a claim with them; I spoke to them one time, and ever since then, they never answered their phone when I called themThey promised an adjuster to my case and that she would call me back within hours, I never heard from anyoneThey promised an inspector to come to my home to inspect my, I haven't heard from anyoneTheir services are awfulI don't insure with themI am with State farm and they're the bestI wasn't at fault during the accident, so I will not file a claim with my insurance companyOcean Harbor has bad ratings, bad reviews and poor serviceI don't think anyone should deal with them

I was involved in an accident with one of there insuredShe came over in my lane in traffic on 8/25/it took this company till after hurricane Irma to come look and my car and now I have not heard a thing I have been calling the phone number and wait on hold for mins to times a day and then get hung up onI need this repair to be taken care ofIt's not like it a couple thousand dollar repair either I don't know how this company is even in business!!

I've been a customer with Ocean Harbor Casualty insurance for close to years nowI had my first car accident this month due to a drunk driver rear ending me the same week Hurricane Irma was coming to FloridaMy car is wrecked, and I was very stressed, but somewhat thinking good thing I have car insurance with who I thought was a great companyI was very mistakenI informed the claims department of my situation and I had car rental insurance but they informed me I had to pay for the rental and they will reimburse me for only days at the max $20, and that it is only for policy termI was very confused because I was not at fault for the accident, and I would think they would take care of their customersI had to prepare for hurricane Irma and I could not evacuate because I did not have the money at the time to put forth for the car rentalThey did not care one bit of my situationI had to stay for hurricane Irma and I did not have power in my household for daysIt was a very difficult time for meI wish they would have handled the situation differently so I could've evacuated, and not go through a horrific experienceIf anyone is thinking about going with this insurance company please do notStick with name brand insurance companies like progressive, State Farm, Geico, etcIt may be extra money, but at least you know if a situation occurs (God forbid) you will be taken care of like all customers should

This by far the worst car insurance company I've dealt withThey have awful long wait times( 40-min) to get in contact with someone, and no one seems to have an answer to the questions you haveThere is no accountability and responsibility for the poor customer service and poor treatmentThey can get on here and dispute but this is the indisputable truthThey should have an "F" as there rating

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy since when is it a problem to have cars in your name they trying to make me add drivers to my policy that don't drive either of my vehicles they didn't explain any of this when they took my money and just made my 1st payment monday and still it wasn't a problem now out the blue they want to cancel my policy because I have vehicles and driver I wish I could protest in front of their building

My first attempt resulted in a minute hold period with no answer
My second attempt resulted in a second unanswered call after another minute wait
Further research for a contact number revealed ###-###-#### which offered a 3rd opportunity to wait on hold for more minutes
I queried the company reviews and learned the likelihood of success in reaching them was very small

This is the most incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with, going on three months and repairs are just getting started supposedlyThey’ve dragged their feet the whole time through the process, first not picking up my vehicle for a week while making up lies saying I didn’t give them the information then sticking me with the lot fees which is added onto my deductible nowDanielle, who is in charge of my claim can’t even pick up a phone call on her direct extensionI called her times in a row and she ignored meI called her from a different number and she picked up on the secondI strongly advise to never do business with this companyThey want me to give up on my claimStay away!!!

My vehicle was involved in an accident with a vehicle insured by Ocean Harbor on 8/9/I reported the claim days later, after not being able to get anyone on the phone the next day and then being on hold for minutesAn adjuster did come out to look at my car within a few daysThe next week, they sent me paperwork, requesting all of the same info I gave over the telephoneI sent back the info as asked, and it has been weeks with no response from anyoneAfter calling today and finding out the adjuster handling my case is not in, I was told the claim is pending because I did not send in the police reportI work full time, and I should not be required to take time off to get a copy of the report, for an accident that was not my faultShouldn't this insurance company request the report, or what about the other drivers involved in the accident? The damage on my car has already been assessed and Ocean Harbor has received the estimateI just want this resolved and my car fixed

Getting my car insured with this company was the worst decision I've ever made in my life! The worst experience ever!!! If someone will ask me if I can recommend it I will say "run away from this Insurence company as fast as you can"!!! First of all they rushed me to buy the policy, so they tricked me and sold me not what I neededSecond they NEVER answer the phone, you can talk to their answering machines and voice mail boxes for weeksthan when they finally answer they are rude, confusing, and telling you they will call you back or even just hang up on you!
When I got my first accident they called me back in TWO WEEKS!!! By the time they called me I had my second Excident and after this one they just told me they not going to fix my car or pay me anything, Even I got full coverage! when I called them and talked to supervisors every one of them told me different stuff, one of them told me I don't have full coverage so I told him you sold me the wrong thing or you just lying to me, he transferred me to the other supervisor and she told me yes you have full coverageI was super confused and couldn't understand what is going onSo anyway they refused to fix my car, because when second accident happened I wasn't the driver, BUT! on the government website of the state of California you can clearly see (black on white, like people say in my home country): "For those friends or family members who don’t live with you but use your car every once in a while – you can typically loan them your vehicle and not worry that they’ll be coveredPermissive use generally applies in these cases
Permissive use means that if you give another driver permission to take your car, they will be covered by your car’s insurance coverage." And I didn't have this person excluded from my policy
Now I'm speechlessby the law of the state of California my insurance supposed to cover me but they just have their own rules and do what ever they want to doI feel they just rubbing people! They are scammers! And this business need to be sued and closed !!!
Regular people are suffering from companies like thisshame on you Osean Harbor Casualty Insurance company
I'm a single mom and now me and my baby suffering because of this people, and I'm sure I'm not the only one , I wish Justice will prevail
