Mr [redacted] made a reservation on July 31, for an RV site, originally to begin on October 1st He was told at that time that we required a Non-refundable deposit of $to hold the site He brought the deposit in on August 2, At some point, he changed his arrival date to October 9th He came to the office on September 20th to cancel his reservation He stated that he had found a deal that he could not refuse and requested his $deposit be refunded He was reminded that this was a Non-Refundable deposit; that we had held the site for him for over days Therefore, no refund would be made [redacted] , ManagerOakwood RV Resort

I am rejecting this response because:There are factually wrong statements. I did not cancel my reservation on 20 SEP, it was 18 SEP. Also, there was no signage or verbal statement stating that the deposit was non-refundable. There was nothing on the receipt as well in regards to a non-refundable deposit. Lastly, the park itself did not allow my to reserve prior to 09 OCT because of the upcoming Oktoberfest Festival and they were booked. 09 OCT was always the original date. I could not request a refund prior to 18 SEP because, as a Texas Army National Guard soldier, I had been in Houston most of the month in support of Hurricane Harvey relief.

to October 9th.  He came to the office on September 20th to cancel his reservation.  He stated that he had found a deal that he could not refuse and requested his $100.00 deposit be refunded.  He was reminded that  this was a Non-Refundable deposit; that we had held the site for him for over 30 days.  Therefore, no refund would be made.  [redacted], ManagerOakwood RV Resort
