November 7, Dear Revdex.com, This complaint was received, but yes, it was in my junk email I would like to respond to the recent complaint filed with youOn August 16, 2016, due to no fault by Oaks Park, PGE had an issue with partial power outage to the park Portions of the park lost power and for safety reasons, we closed all the rides until all power was restored to the park The power was out for almost hours We did have customers wait in long lines for us to date their daily bracelet and we stated to each customer, “thank you for your patience, Oaks Park will honor your bracelets until October 2nd, which is the end of our season” We, several employees, at guest services repeated that statement over and over while we were hand dating customer bracelets We did have several customers which stayed that day and when the power was restored by PGE, and enjoyed the rides for the rest of the day We are sorry the customer felt she was not being heard and that she felt the manager did not handle this situation to her satisfactionWe would be willing to offer this customer complementary skating passes to come and enjoy the Historical Skating Rink, but we have closed the amusement rides for the season and do not have a way to provide her any other type of replacement If you forward me her address I can mail out skating passes to her asap Please contact me should you have any further questions Becky S [redacted] Controller 503-206-

Portions of the park lost power and  for safety reasons, we closed all the rides until all power was restored to the park.  The power was out for almost 2 hours. 
We did have customers wait in long lines for us to date their daily bracelet and we stated to each customer, “thank you for your patience, Oaks Park will honor your bracelets until October 2nd, which is the end of our season”.  We, several employees, at guest services repeated that statement over and over while we were hand dating customer bracelets.  We did have several customers which stayed that day and when the power was restored by PGE, and enjoyed the rides for the rest of the day.
