Oak Park Hall

I met with this venueI rented the venue Friday, October 6th, for a private event for $1, I have a contract signed In the contract it discloses that I can have 200-people inside of the venue The Fire Marshall showed up two hours into the event and shut us down because we were overcrowded When I had asked the Fire Marshall how many people are allowed to be inside, he said only people After the Fire Marshall evacuated everyone we had a head count of people The venue had told me they had all of there permits to have events How ever the fire marshall and other police officers stated that they had no permits to have these events and that they have illegally accepted money from me to have this event and that I should request my money back or sue The venue keeps telling me they have permits but has failed to show them as proof The venue has continuously lied to me I asked the venue for half of my money back for the event and they refused to refund m
