NYC Moves

Review: I hired NYC Moves to move me on 2/**/2014. They were late 1.5 hours. When they arrived they started saying I had more bags then I mentioned on the phone and I had to pay extra because it would take them more trips. But the issue was that they sent 2 guys instead of promised 3 guys. Then it took them more then 2 hours to get to my new apartment, when it takes 20 minutes by car. It turns out they stopped somewhere to pick up their boss (Lewis or John) and more guys. Their boss told me I had to pay $50 more, which I agreed to. Now when I put my bed together I noticed it was badly beaten up and 2 of my new mattress all covered in dirt. I sent pictures to the the company and they said they would come to take a look, they sent one of the guys to inspect and the guy said he will ask them to reimburse me for cleaning the mattress and that the bed was already beaten up and that they told me that when before they moved it, which was a complete lie. When I called the their boss, he started yelling at me saying the bed was old and beaten up, I said I had a receipt that it was brand new, I also had a receipt for brand new mattress. He started accusing me that I had more stuff, to which I replied that I paid what he requested, but he just would not listened and kept yelling. the company has not reimbursed me for the damages to my furniture.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for damaged furniture.
