NYC Laser Place

Review: I purchased an [redacted] package for six treatments. They no longer answer their phones or e-mails. Additionally, they are not allowing services to be booked online (despite their phone message and instructions on their website).Desired Settlement: If they are unable to provide the services, then I would like them to pay for an alternative business to complete their contract.

Review: I purchased a Groupon last year for 6 laser treatments from NYC Laser Place. Although the Groupon has an expiration date, there is also a note from NYC Laser Place that it never expires, but that's not the issue. To date I've used 3 treatments and have 3 left. Appointments are made on their website. I made an appointment right before July [redacted]. The week prior to my appt, they sent me a text message canceling my appointment explaining that the technician will be away. I rescheduled for Tue, July [redacted]. I went to my appt this week to discover that the technician is no longer at the location, and was told she moved offices 3 floors down in the same bldg. I went to the new office and waited for about 10 mins. I was then given her phone #, I called and spoke to her and she explained that the company is no longer in business, that she was hired by them, but she no longer works for them and is now on her own - therefore my Groupon was worthless! I called Groupon and notified them. They said they will look into it and get back to me within 5 days. I received a text from NYC Laser Place at 10:30pm on July ** (day of my appt) saying my appt the next day was canceled and I will be notified - they had the date wrong and by then it was too late. I can't get a live person when I call NYC Laser Place's #. I would like at least half my money back. The Groupon was $129.00. Thank you.Desired Settlement: $64.50
