Review: I was interested in a Jovani gown for my daughter which was originally priced at $740. There was a sale on that particular day so the gown was $480. I paid $200 deposit down and owed $280 balance to pick it up. That same day I saw the exact same Jovani 2012 collection dress selling online for half of the price. We believed that this gown was from a new collection based on the retail price($740) in this store. I was to pay the balance by a particular day to pick up the dress. When I saw a significant difference in the dress price online I called the store and went in to ask if I could use my $200 cash deposit towards something else. I was told "No" by the [redacted]. I was asking to do this BEFORE the pick up date on my receipt so that I would not loose my deposit as stated on receipt. I was not asking for a refund but only to use that $200 towards another item in the store. The [redacted] told me not to call back. She did not even attempt to work with me.Desired Settlement: I now want my $200 refund when originally a store credit was all I was asking.

Review: I was given a picture of a prom dress that was to be ordered for my daughter. The dress we have is not the same dress. I called within an hour of the 516.20 cash purchase to let the owner Judy know. She said it must have been a defect from the dress maker(colordress). I called the dress maker and he stated the color could be off we could exchange it. However the owner of the boutique said we were unreasonable we left with it, it's ours. ( during the try in in the store we were very short because she had her dog, Romeo in the shop and my mother is allergic) I went to another dress shop tonight. The dress owner told me I have a givonni picture and a colors knock off... The owner refuses to do anything but tell me I am wrong .. I am filing a small claims suit. However, the prom is in 2 weeks...she will miss out as I do not have an extra 500 laying around... Shame on nycity flare boutique!!!Desired Settlement: I need to purchase the correct dress... I want my cash back
