Ny Kids Club

In September 2018 I enrolled my daughter in a class at the *** location of NYKC. The class was cancelled due to low enrollment and the money ($610) was credited to my NYKC account. I don't recall if I asked for a refund at this time as it was done in person and I have no written record, but I'm pretty sure I was sweet talked into taking the credit.

In March 2019, after not finding a class that fit with our schedule, I requested a refund since it had been so long that they had kept my money. I was refused. In June 2019 I enrolled my daughter in a ballet class for the fall. I called on the day it was due to commence to confirm it was going ahead since it was not on their new schedule and the manager informed me it had been cancelled but he forgot to call me. I asked for a refund again at that time and was refused.

I have now been going back and forth with the manager for six months and he will not give me anyone more senior to speak to. I am told the district manager has refused my request and I must find another class or event for my daughter to attend in order to use the credit.

In addition, I have since reviewed my records, and was not sent a refund check for a camp I cancelled in the amount of $835.
