Review: This business was hired to set up a home office for a new construction business. He installed two workstations, with Microsoft and all the office products including Adobe, brought us a server - we have NO licensing numbers, no serial numbers or product numbers on the units. We have no passwords (specifically for the server, which was compromised when our entire shared drive and all documents "miraculously" disappeared after we told him we no longer were going to use him, and we can no longer use it because he refuses to give us the password which he claims he does not have). Now we are trying to reinstall our server with our computers and we can't because we have no product information, licensing numbers or passwords. The two computers he provided us with as well as the server were machines he built himself, therefore leaving us no options to contact manufacturers for help. We believe he does this purposely so that customers have no choice but to go to him with their computer problems, even if they no longer want to work with his company. We worked specifically with [redacted].
He was frequently late and/or never showed up. Also made repeat visits for the same issues because he "forgot something" or "needed another tool/program", and would then charge us for both home visits.Desired Settlement: We have given [redacted] almost $5,000 to [redacted]'s company, and want every cent back, as well as ALL licensing for ALL programs we have bought, and the password for the server
