the cake was delivered earlier than requested. When an order is delivered outside of the requested timeframe, we ensure that the venue staff is made aware of the delivery and confirms the customer’s event time. In this instance, the cake was delivered to the venue manager who confirmed he had notified his staff assigned to that party room that the cake was in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for the negligence of the venue and it’s lack of communication/performance. Had we been notified by either the customer or the venue during the event we would have been able to immediately remedy the issue.
