On October 26, 2019, I contacted NURA because I realized I had overpaid my husband’s medical bill by $619.08. The person on the phone (Megan) was very helpful and explained that NURA has two accounts, one for the surgical aspect, and one for the pain management aspect. I was paying the surgical bill, and it was being credited to the pain account. I spoke to Megan again on 11/15/19, and she “expedited” the refund request. I called on 12/10, 1/15, and 2/11, and each time the agents told me they saw that it had been expedited, and that they would contact “the back room” to make them aware of my inquiry. During the 2/11/20 phone call, I told (agent) Mark that I was done with my patience, as it had been 3 months since the “expedited” request, and that I wanted to talk to either 1. Be cc’d on the email to “the back room,” or 2. Speak to a supervisor. I was told I could not be cc’d on the email, so he connected me to Winter, his supervisor. I thoroughly explained my situation to Winter, and she told me that she understood my frustration. I told her my next option might be small claims court and that I just wanted my money back. Again, she understood my frustration. I told her I was done being patient, and that I wanted to talk with someone in “the back room,” or her supervisor. She put me on hold, and the call was disconnected one minute later. I just want the money I am due.

I would recommend to go anywhere but here! All the physicians assistance treat the patients as they feel needed! Nobody is in the same page. One doc will do one thing and then when you are seen the next time with a different person they change everything! They tell you one thing and do something completely different. When you take a urine sample to make sure you aren’t doing any drugs they also check to make sure you have the opioid in your urine. What they don’t tell you is that if you don’t that the opioid in your urine they will stop all oral medication. No warning, nothing! They go through docs like water! I would go anywhere but here!!
