I hired this company 5/11/and gave a deposit for a soffit to be capped by 5/21/
They did not come to do the job until 6/12/and capped the 1st floor soffit that was already capped and the capping was seamless It was not only the wrong soffit but it was poor workmanship I have been calling them ever since and only on one occasion did someone come look at it Moving forward, they claimed they would fix the situation and cancelled twice I continue to call and they are very condescending asking me to repeat myself and went as far to tell me to take a chill pill

We ordered a new back door for our patio back in May In addition, they charged the card the full amount in May when they ordered the door prior to us even receiving the product Nothing was signed as well In any event, we were told it would take to weeks for the doors to be ready It ended being over weeks before the doors came in Finally, once the doors were received the company sent us a sub-contractor out to remove our old door and install the new door The sub-contractor was concerned because the door measurements were not exact, but assured us he could make it work So, we allowed him to do the job However, he had to go to Home Depot in the middle of the job to purchase some wood to fill in a gap that existed a the top of the door He said he would be in contact to come back to paint the wood After he left, we realized the door was not installed properly, pieces are not secured, there are gaps in the sliding screen door Outside there is a piece that is not

Review: I had contacted NuView Windows in regards to installing an Egress window in my home. NuView as well as a few other companies came to my home and gave estimates. I spoke with a man named [redacted]. This was the very end of April, beginning of May. Me and my family decided that the NuView product was the one to go with. A check for half of the total amount was written on 5-8-14 and given directly to [redacted]. Check was $2637.50. The second half was due upon completion. [redacted] advised that the process of gaining permits and setting up the dates for work to be completed was to be "within a few weeks". [redacted] stated that he would call me when this is ready. Nuview had cashed my check on 5-16-14. I did not hear from [redacted] for over 2 weeks. When I called he said that it was still being worked on and that he would contact me again. For the next few weeks I would call [redacted] and either get no answer at all, no call back, or a basic response of "I'll get back with you". After not hearing from [redacted] for a few days I called the main business number and spoke with Bill. Bill advised that he didn't know anything about what was going on but would find out and call me later that day, which he never did. When I called again, the next morning, Bill stated that I would no longer talk to [redacted] but a person named [redacted] who is supposedly an "owner" of NuView. When speaking with [redacted] I was advised that the work would be done by the end of the month. This is now the beginning of June. [redacted] gave the week of June 16th for when he would contact me. He did not. I called him asking about the start date. [redacted] advised he had a crew and the window. Work would begin on the morning of June 30th. Morning of June 30th has arrived and no workers came. I called [redacted]. He did not answer his phone but texted that he was sorry and didn't know what was going on and that the work would probably not be done on the 30th. I have contacted by phone and by text multiple times since the morning of June 30th. I have gotten no further response. When contacting the main number again, I was advised by an unknown individual that I must talk to [redacted] and that this unknown individual would talk to [redacted] and have him call me. This also did not happen. Since this time, I have found that NuView does not have a valid contractors license in DE. It expired last year. They do have a business license. As of right now I do not have an egress window that I paid $2637.50 for and I have no contact with the company other than leaving messages.Desired Settlement: Due to the lack of any reliable information to the contrary, I have to believe that this company can not and will not install the egress window. I would like a full refund of my money and to be done with this in lieu of going to court. NuView does not have the permits to complete the work. I have no faith that a work crew for this project even exists. I simply want my money back.
