Nu-Look Home Remodeling

HORRIBLE!
1. We are writing to ensure that other people do not make the error we made by entrusting our home and roof to this company. Our experience:
When it came time for the new roof to be laid down, we immediately knew that the shingles being placed were not what we had selected. The 'manager' asked us to allow them to continue the job so that we would be reassured that the shingles were going to look good. After allowing them to work a little longer, we spoke up again and insisted that the shingles were not what we had chosen or agreed to pay for. As it turned out, the shingles we selected were going to cost more $$$, which put us in a terrible position. We ended up paying more because what they wanted to put on the roof was just HORRIBLE!
2. And this is the absolute WORST: After the roof was replaced, we discovered that it was actually LEAKING! It took forever for the company to send someone to look inside our attic to detect the problem. By then there was already damage to our ceilings. Even after the company representative admitted that a nail had been improperly placed, thereby causing the damage, they never made things right. They sent a painter to do a 'touch up' of the soaked through ceilings, which would have looked terrible due to mismatched paint. Despite the painter agreeing with us, the company told him to leave and never answered our calls to see if someone would come to properly fix the problem.
3. They also promised that they did a thorough sweep around the home after the job was complete to pick up nails that had come loose during the removal of the old roof. This, of course, was ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE! We have small children and dogs, so having sharp objects, such as multiple rusty nails and other dangerous metals on our property, was very concerning. We continued to find these objects even after they came back to clean again.
Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
