Nu Car Rental

Rented a car at NU outside of Orlando International Airport. Takes forever for the shuttle to pick you up to take you to the offsite location. Once there beware. They tell you if you don’t have your auto insurance card you have to buy their insurance. Then they send you outside in the sweltering heat where a girl sits and plays on her phone while you stand there for over an hour waiting for a key to a car. Sent with some tablet to a lot to go figure out which car is yours with no guidance to which car it is. Car has no key fab to figure it out. Given just a key and had to get in cars and try to turn the key to figure out which car it is. Had to go around car with tablet and mark scratches and dents yourself on this tablet. Back to the outside desk and had to stand another half hour there because lazy girl is now selling theme park tickets at the desk. What an absolute nightmare. Get back to drop the car off and said lazy worker is still playing on her phone, no one in sight to return the car too. Another long wait to get the shuttle back to the airport where we were dumped off at the ground transportation area instead of being taken to our terminal area despite the driver asking everyone what airline everyone was flying. I guess there is something to be said about “you get what you pay for.” Run fast from NU car rentals.

This is a horrendous company... I paid Nu car rental $600 dollars for 3 minivan for our family vacation. When we arrived we were told they had no vehicles and that I was suppose to pay an additional $1,500 dollars to rent from somewhere else and they would refund me the difference. It has been 6 months and I call nucar and they don't answer and if they do their supervisor is never in the available. HORRIBLE COMPANY....
