Novotel New York Times Square

I made a nonrefundable reservation through *** prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. After listening to the CDC and World Health organization, as well as Andrew Cuomo. Speak regarding the outbreak I do not feel safe coming to such a big city so soon after an outbreak has occured. Especially since there are claims of bot having enough hospital beds or tests and Dr. Fauci saying there will probably be another outbreak late summer/early fall. I did not expect to be laid off from my job and I did not expect this to last this long. I have contacted *** to contact the property on my behalf and Novotel refuses to accommodate a customer who is concerned about a pandemic, clearly money comes before health here. I have called both booking and Novotel with no response. Booking tells me Novotel refuses to accommodate and Novotel tells me to contact booking, so unfortunately I am left with no choice but to ask here.
