I applied for an apartment at this building I changed my mind about renting the unitThey charged me a non-refundable $application fee which is understandable However, when I called to tell them I wasn't taking the unit, I was told they had charged a non-refundable $"amenities" fee on my credit card
I was not told of this fee upfront from their repThey sent emails to the wrong email address so I didn't receive anything in writing They did not sufficiently disclose this fee to me and refused to refund it

It is our company policy to not refund this fee more than 3 days after the application is submitted which is listed in our online...

application. Shortly after, when Mr. [redacted] expressed concern with the amenity fee, the Property Manager offered to return $250.00 – which he refused. Additionally, Mr. [redacted] expressed concern that he was not notified of the charges stating we had the incorrect email on file.
