I booked a room online through booking.com paid for the room went to the hotel the guy that checked me in asked to see my card an charged my card again I showed my bank account to the manager but he refused to give my money back. So I paid for 1 room twice the 1st time on booking.com an the 2nd when I got to the hotel to get checked in. I have proof that I can submit over.
We checked our records, and found she was only charged once. We didn't receive a peyment in her name from Booking.com.
Upon checking you learn there is a security deposit. But getting over that. My huge main concern is the fact they have a pool that is colder than Alaska. The water could cause hypothermia. U walk down this long freezing hallway that's super cold gets colder as you go.
The heat in our room also had problems getting it to heat up.
They dont have extra laundry for you either. We got 2 rooms even tho my reservations said 1 king bed so 2 beds would result in 2 washcloths. We got 1 on one day none on the next and 1 on last day. We asked our housekeeper she said you can't tell them they dont listen. We do what were told.
Although we got our deposit back which they claim is if you break something but things are already broken. How would they know? I just dont think it's an appropriate way to run a business. Upon arriving they wasnt even at front desk because check in isnt til 4 but the owner was so rude to us and told us take a seat he would be with us at the right time at 4pm. I'm just not sure what I paid for other than a bed to sleep in.
While walking back from the pool area on night 2 hoping we could swim we saw a used needle cap from a needle in the hallway on the floor. I knew at that point I was in the wrong hotel and area of town. They need to monitor the hotel better.
I went to stay at the Columbus location that I booked on booking.com. The cancellation policy said I could cancel my booking for free before 6pm day of arrival and after seeing how terrible the room was, I decided I didn’t want to stay at the hotel any longer. The front desk refused to let me talk to a manager and would not give me the full 100 dollars I had put down for the room that I was no longer staying at. I’ve been calling to speak to a manager and the front desk still refuses to let me speak to him/her and tells me that the policy I was told when booking is wrong. I would like my money refunded since I did not end up staying and have been treated so poorly about the issue
Reservation was made online August 23, 3019 at approximately 730 pm. Received email confirmation detailing stay. Was told confirmation didn't go through and hotel is sold out.
Upon checking in we had to do a little bit of running around by the time we get back it was around midnight and we decided to get into our beds our beds were covered with urine stains blood stains the bathrooms were filthy dirty with pubic hair all over the floor and in the tub there were boogers wiped all over the wall I went down to the front desk I was told there was no housekeeping the night before and there was no manager I was not offered any new blankets it was midnight I’m two hours away from home he told me if I left tonight they would give me a full refund and as I was standing there they were trying to get the dirty room to another gas that was trying to book in with them because they were hoping I would leave ! I also took pictures of everything the next day I asked the manager if you wanted to look at them he said no he offered me a $14 discount that was not acceptable in the end he ended up refunding $30
1. The shower drain had sm and rust built up around it that was not cleaned regularly.
2. The front desk clerk(s) spoke in another language than me and my wife knew. They continued to talk in the language that we asked them not to speak in, and continued to look at my wife while laughing hysterically.
3. I asked for towels on Saturday AM, and was told that I could not have any at the front desk.
4. The pool was not at a temperature that it could utilized, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. ]
5. There was a contractor (drywall) parked outside of the entrance door, blocking the entrance door with a sheet of drywall from 6PM Friday until the time we departed (8:00 AM Sunday).
6. The parking lot was so full Saturday night (10/20) that we had to park 2 blocks away with 2 kids and a pet, to get to our room.
