Just got off the phone with Aaron, a manager of the locksmith company I put in complaint (ID ***) He stands by his tech, said I chose to sign the receipt, said I could have just said no thank you to the additional charge and he would have driven away(bet I would still have been charged
the $50...but I didn't ask)So, it is my word against his and I have no proof that the charge was added later and my decision to let him do it and call the guy later doesn't cut it. I talked with him about the unfairness and miscommunication of presenting a $cost and then more than doubling it, he then compared it to being a doctor and paying for a doctor's visit. I then told him that I would be going into a doctor's visit expecting it to be $not going in expecting $and then being bumped up. He said he would talk to the big boss about it but I give up - I'll pay the $119. He was concerned that I had reported to you and I assured him that I would let you know that he did call me back (he was out last week for Passover) but I am stuck with the additional fee. I did tell him he had a F rating and that there were other complainants out there for his tactics. He said he charged by "industry standards" - if that is the case - he ought not give such low figures of cost Thanks for your help
