We understand a complaint was filed regarding follow up and customer care for a new home that was purchased from Northwest Family Homes in Greene Realty and Matt P*** represented NW Family Homes as the listing brokerage and broker. We do not have any ownership interest in NW Family
homes. Our job in the process of the sale was to represent the builder during the transaction, and facilitate a builder walk-through/orientation between builder and buyer prior to closingAfter closing, the homeowner worked directly with the builder on any follow up walk-throughs or issues with the home that may require the builder to return and affect repairsIn this instance, we were copied on communications from homeowner that we could see were sent directly to the builder as they should beThe performance of the builder after closing in this case has become a reflection on our company which is unfortunate, but is still being resolved. When representing the builder in the sale of the home, customer service is arranged directly through the builder. However when we become aware of an issue with our clients performance, we make every effort to see that our client performs their obligations. Greene Realty should not be involved in a complaint regarding post-closing repair issues when those issues are between the buyer and seller. We will continue to make every effort those issues are resolved. We have learned that the builder is still in communication with this purchaser working towards resolution. Greene Realty has always valued the highest level of customer service, and we hope for a speedy resolution between the parties involved
