I have been complaining for years about the spotty service here, to the point that I have Nick Stover's personal cellphone number.
When I'm working (I work at home and NEED this connection) I lose conference calls. I lose VPN connections. I'm unable to work on projects that depend on any external resource because the connection is unstable.
But night is the worst. Video games disconnect, videos and movies buffer - it took me two tries to submit this complaint!
You guys have re-run an underground cable to me that was only a couple of years old. You've replaced equipment at the post in my yard. You've had cable techs replace short circuiting equipment at the local node. You've caught is in the apts across the street stealing cable. You've upgraded equipment and probably spent everywhere but where you need to - you need to split the node. I need more throughput.
I'm in an unusual position. Because of my location I can get cable from you or from Charter. I prefer you, if for no other reason than you forced me to pay 3000 dollars for this connection that only works sometimes. I feel like I need to get that money back somehow.
You sell the cable internet. You sold it to me, and charged me 3k to give it to me for the privilege of getting billed every month. You sold it, so now give me my money's worth. I'm tired. Please, just so I don't have to go through the trouble of screaming to high heaven online about how horrible the connection is, just so I didn't completely waste 3000 dollars, just so I have one less problem in a long list of problems, fix it.
Split the node. I'm tired from a number of things. This shouldn't be one of them.
This company is the most unreliable unprofessional company to get high speed internet service from. Never have I had the problems from a internet provider that I have experienced with this company. From day one with their broadband speeds that would drop out to no speed at night to their fiber internet I just had installed. No service and no tech support available for fiber internet. They get my monthly bill in advance and I get no service or even help with my service in return. Multiple trips to their office cost me time and gas. I go to school online so they are affecting my education as well. Poor management of a corporation from the top. Never should you roll out fiber internet without a tech support team available to your customers.
I have been paying now 7 months for service that I have not been receiving. I asked for a Static IP and it was added to my bill. I was sent an IP. That IP has not once worked. I have gone through all of the very limited "assistance" that they gave in email or on their facebook page. I have tried calling their phone number and they do not allow you to talk with anyone that is at the actual location. The service help that their number goes to is associated with Cable internet, which can't even see or touch any of the Fiber related equipment. I have personally gone into their location several times and been told that their IT person "was out right, now and would call me back if I left a number with them." Then I get emails stating they called me but it was a dead line. I have asked them to change the phone number on the account several times. All to no avail. At this point there has been inadequate attempts to properly resolve this issue. I have used all of the avenues available to resolve this issue, and have given them far more time to resolve this then required.
