Typically with gas powered chain saws, there are adjustments that could/should be made during the breperiod to adjust the chain which could have caused this frustrating issueTypically, we will offer to make those adjustments as a
courtesy to ensure the unit is running to manufacturer specifications as noted in the owners manual typically under the adjusting the chain tension in the maintenance section of the owners manualThat being said, we will gladly resolve this valued customers issue with a full refund per their requestWe have contacted this customer via the phone and they will be bringing their unit in for a full refund the week of 8/14/

Northern Tool did offer me a full refund and I did return the saw to themI truly believe that had I not made a complaint with the Revdex.com, they would have refused to refund my moneyI think someone in authority should take a look at their policies and determine if they are legalTo me their policy lets them refuse to give a refund no matter how poorly the product is designedAs I told the manager, it should not take me having to file a complaint to get my money back on a clearly substandard product

I am rejecting this response because:I accepted the exchange because that was the only option I was offered.... I DID NOT AGREE that what I bought should NOT be used everyday ... that was not stated on the product when purchased and should be if it cant be used everyday ,.... that is WHY it was bought. if I buy a car, or a pair of shoes or even a drinking glass I buy it to use when I need it . I was told this will wear out also and they might not warrent the warrenty if I use it everyday, however I NEED it , but I  need it to work am I supposed to buy 3 or 4 and use a different one everyday ? 
I  accepted the other Generator which I was told had some damage to the gas tank but was replaced ....I am not concerned with the cosmitics just the function. Thank you for your help and what you do ..... knowing what I was told today I should have been offered a refund since what I bought is not intended to last.
