Northern Nevada Emergency Physicians

Was in 10/1/2021 for COVID related problem. All doctors involved properly sent bills to insurance except NNEP. Contacted them several times and was told they would send it to insurance company. Contacted insurance company several times and was told they never got it. The insurance company did get all the other doctors' bill BUT theirs. The is at NNEP put it in collections. Someone with a thick accent at NNEP said they would take it out of collection while insurance was "pending". Then someone else with a thick accent said I was told wrong. I finally got disgusted and paid the $1105 plus interest off with the collections agency. I have never had any other problems with anything I have had done at Renown going well back into Washoe Med times, but Renown needs to dump NNEP!

Billing errors they submitted acclaim to the wrong insurance company and then sent me to collect over a bilI contacted them to have corrected they submitted to the correct insurance and my insurance carrier paid claimBut they still continue to send me bills saying claim was not paid even though I have an EOB and check number from my carrierI continue to contact them by phone and mail packet after packet showing all information of payment

I had an emergency room visit for a chest injury on 2/1/at Renown Hospital I received an additional bill form the Northern Nevada Emergency Physicians I immediately called them on 2/17/with all the numbers on my insurance card They said they do not receive a copy from the hospital, that the patient has to call them directly with the information They sent the claim to the wrong insurance I called back a few times, and again, my insurance never received it On 2/13/my insurance company called them Northern Nevada Physicians said they resent it to the correct place in March My insurance did not receive it until May At this point, it is past when the insurance can pay Northern Nevada Emergency Physicians should work with the hospital to have the correct insurance (the hospital had no issues submitting my claim) They should not depend on phone numbers and info from the patient They also should file claims on time and if the insurance refused payment, let the
