I signed a contract with North East Engineering for a septic system design 9/18. I was given design plan and installation estimate. I used that information to shop for a build estimate and found another company that agreed to use aforementioned design and to work with the NEC engineer. The other contractor found issues in the designed that needed clarification. They have made a number of attempts to get the NEC engineer to make the necessary changes so that the project can move forward. Most recently the *** made contact with the NEC engineer to make changes to the elevation. NEC made changes and it was still not correct. The fact that I have a failed cesspool. system is a health hazard. There are legal consequences that the city can site me for. I want the engineer to fulfill his obligation as quoted in my contract and I quote "Northeast Classic Engineering agrees to conduct a system design for an upgrade at an existing septic system located at...All work will be done in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with the requirements of the State Sanitary Code..." If NEC will not meet the contractual obligation I desire a refund so that I can seek out the services of another resource and so that I can comply with the health codes for my family and as required by the city in which I live.
There was a miss understanding by the customer and the job is now complete. The inspector was reviewing the plan. The customer promised me she would call and explain the situation to you. Thanks
We need a septic system replacement. Northeast Classic Engineering contacted us through *** for the purpose of replacing our septic system We reviewed his ratings and met with the owner ***. We accepted his proposal, gave him a check for $1400.00, and arranged for soil testing with his company and the *** Board of Health. Soil testing was completed June 1, 2017 (with the *** Board of Health Representative present). We gave Mr *** a check for an additional $500 to cover the backhoe services. At that time Mr *** told us all of the test holes were acceptable and we could proceed with the septic replacement. Since then my husband and I have called, texted and sent a letter to Mr. and Northeast Classic Engineering and Mr *** has not responded. My letter to his company was returned and as of today (9/29/2017) the phone number that is listed in no longer in service.
We would like to know if Northeast Classic Engineering is still in business and whether the money we have given Mr. has been spent on the septic system.
Thank you
