Company offered quote of $6.40/sf for flooring plus installation fee for floors. We made a down payment to initiate the order and the pricing on the receipt/invoice for this remained the same, two line items: 1) materials at $6.40/sf and installation fee.
Work has now been completed and we received a new invoice with a new cost for materials ($6.93/sf) and new line items for materials that were discussed and thought to be included in initial quote. These new materials total approximately $475. We called three other suppliers and received quotes on these additional materials for $286, $344 and $382 respectively.
I am responding to claim filed by *** has been settled and paid in full to his quote plus trim he added on.

I am rejecting this response because: unsatisfactory and unacceptable customer service. The trim "I added" should have been included in initial quote and when it was added later it cost 1.5-2X as much as others charge. The company only responded via Revdex.com after I finally relented and paid the invoice after receiving a threat to put a lien on my house for 2x the cost of the job.

This company is used by Summit Homes. We purchased a new home and tile on the fireplace was supposed to be re done prior to closing. It was not done and several repairs have been attempted but the end result is much worse. It was agreed that the entire fireplace tile work needs to be replaced and not repaired with the owner of the company.
On multiple occasions the installation crew simply did not show up. No communication from the company was ever initiated to notify that crews were either hours late or simply were not showing up. On another occasion a crew came with enough materials to attempt another repair, but scratched my fireplace insert and the tile work was again far from acceptable. Pictures were proved to Summit Homes and the owner of Northcraft. I was finally able to talk to the owner and they said the entire fireplace would be re done. No crew showed up on the scheduled date. I was finally able to obtain an email and the owner rescheduled the job to be done again today 2/3/18. Today they showed up but without the required material once again.
I am writing in regards to a complaint filed by ***.
I am a little confused as we have gone in and completely replaced all the
Tile on the face of his fireplace along with the sheetrock behind making everything
Level from the builder. As of 2-17-18 everything was completed and sign off by customer.
