Bad ! shop elsewhere
Everyone saying they're satisfied...you just threw money away...smh.
I left a note and the mail woman was kind enough to write her info on it. She also emailed me the notice of refused package sent back to probably china.
I noticed the comment by Robert Fitzgerald (below) I have strong doubt about the legitimacy of this identity. The company sells itself on FB as a Canadian company. Having dealt with them and lost my money, I can confirm the general suspicion that this company is illegitimate and has no inventory in Canada, which is a requirement for online selling in some provinces. Based on my experience with them, I believe that any positive comment should be seen as suspicious. For confirmation I strongly suggest that you consult the BBB, and/or Trust Pilot. You will find a very different story.
80 % of USA products are impoerted from China. As far as your claim about it not being made in Canada, it says no where on the site that this is it is made in Canada. In fact 95% of otherwear is imported from China or other asian countires, Columbia spotswear is all imported and just says import, and North Face does not identify any thing (Import or other). So if you are stupid enough to think that just becuase a company is located in the USA or Canada and think this is where the product is produced then you are not very well informed and need to become better educated.

buckle the belt. Belt is made of very good quality and is tough but is lightweight and
comfortable as. It does not cause problems while bending on my torso aur disturbs in
any way. Settling the length of the belt can also be done pretty easily. All in all, I'm
extremely happy with the product.
1- They sell a "50L" backpack, with the dimensions 30cm x 20cm x 55cm, which would be 33,000 cubic cm or 33L !!!
2- They claim they have free returns up to 30 days after receipt of the goods so I ordered a few items including the above-mentioned backpack and paid $198.73 USD. I changed my mind after a few hours and asked them to cancel my order. To my surprise, they said they won't cancel my order and they will ship it to me (which based on the other victims will take months) then I have to return it back to them (which will take months again) and then they will return my money (which will take more months again)... So if I'm lucky I would be able to get my money back this time next year. ***
3- *** I communicated with them, and they claimed items were shipped, and when I asked for the tracking number, they gave a fake tracking code, and after exposing them, they provided another dummy code.

Unfortunately, you are using the wrong method to calculate volume. If you are measuring a box that cannot be expanded, that method would make sense. With backpacks, due to the number of compartments and the fact that they can expand, this method to calculate the volume is incorrect.
We would have cancelled the order, but because it was already sent to our carrier, we were unable to process the refund at the time. We use a third party carrier who ships it to ***, which is why the tracking number was not updated at the time. I am rejecting this response because:
A) Misleading the customers: 1) In the product description *** or pictures there was no note about the expandability. The mollie system cannot be considered as any extra space because that requires the customer to buy extra mollie compatible and compartments. Anyways they don't sell a 50L backpack. They sell a 33L backpack that with modification from the client it may or may not get that extra space. ***
B) Regarding order cancellation, we had the same dispute, and I clearly explained that IF you could provide me with a waybill dated on July 27th (Before my cancellation request) that addressed to my shipping address, then I would back off my request and wait for the goods to arrive. Unfortunately, not only Northbound Gear failed to provide me any proof of shipment, they sent me dummy tracking numbers in two occasions. I am sorry to say that they did this unethical conduct with other customers as you may find in Revdex.com claims for this company.

Thank you for the reply. Regarding the comment you mentioned about not being a note about expandability. Backpacks are not solid in shape, so simply measuring WL*H is not a true indication of the volume. You have to factor each individual compartment as well. There are multiple resources on *** that you can check to verify this. Here is a useful method you can use to verify the size of the bag:One of the conventional yet straightforward methods is by using small Ping-Pong balls or even dried beans in determining the volume of the bag. Make arrangement for enough balls, or you could collect enough dried beans and start.Using a measuring cup, fill your backpack with dried bean or ballImmediately the pack is full, write down the number of cups required to fill the bag to full capacityWith regards to the cup size and the number of cups used, you already have the value in liter capacity of your bag or packIf the measuring cup is rated 500ml capacity and it took 40 cups to fill the bag up, the total capacity stands at 20 liters. You can fill out the outer pocket too if you wish. Regarding the order cancellation. We use a third party carrier that ships our goods to ***. This is why it may not show up in the *** system until a few days later. We aim to ship goods within 24 hours to avoid any delays. As mentioned previously, if you are not satisfied with the product, we will refund you 100% as long as you return the goods within 30 days of receipt.
There would be no reason for us to deny your cancellation request had we not shipped the goods.

I am rejecting this response because: The backpack picture shows a cuboid shape which conforms with W x L x H calculations. If the product photos in your website is NOT authentic, please let me know since I have NOT received the product to test it. Again we are not talking about +/- 5% change in volume, but we are talking about more than %50 increase in volume that could not be mathematically explained. Regardless of ping pong balls, rice, or beans it is impossible to fit 50L of any of those items in 33L unless you reduce the volume of that item to 33L.
Again, if you really shipped the products on July 27th BEFORE my cancellation request, please provide the proof (Waybill of your 3rd party shipping company) so it could be verified.

I placed my order on 7 May 20 and received confirmation the same day.
On 13 May 20, I submitted a query using the store’s online contact form enquiring about order . ***
On 13 May 20 I responded indicating that “I used the link provided and also tried *** and both sites reported ***
Interestingly, on 15 May 20, *** Clearly, the package has not been shipped!
On 17 May 20 Northbound responded ***
On 30 Jun 20, I sent an email ***
The response from Northbound gear on 2 Jul 20 stated that ***
In response to the 2 Jul 20 email, I requested return instructions and stated that it was my intention to refuse the shipment. I also sought confirmation that this was an acceptable course of action.
On 9 Jul 20, Northbound responded ***
On 9 Jul 20, I initiated the link and was notified that *** I continue to exchange emails to resolve this issue to no avail. I have asked for a refund however I was told I cannot be refunded as the order was shipped. The provided return instructions link indicates that I am not eligible for a refund.
At this point, I have not received the items ordered and I am out $158.08 USD.
Conclusion. I would like VALID return instructions, a full refund and an apology for the stress and hardship of dealing with Northbound Gear.

Order products and sent a shipping confirmation with tracking number. The tracking number was ***. It has now been 11 business days for *** shipping. When I track my package through *** it says it’s an invalid number. Contacted the company Multiple times. Told a week ago they were checking and would let me know about my package soon. Then told Saturday they would update the tracking number Sunday. Never got a reply. They have no phone number. Many reviews say the tracking number they provide does not work And it takes months to receive. Said 5-10 business days for shipping. I want my money back and am calling my credit card about
On Saturday April 18th, 2020 I ordered a pair of pants and a duffel bag. It is now June 8th and I have still to receive my order guaranteed delivery in 30 days. I have contacted Northbound Gear multiple times on different platforms. I've asked to them to refund my money and or resend my order and haven't heard back from them. I have been more than patient and they seem not to care.

DO NOT SHOP AT NORTHBOUND! Don’t bother ordering products from this company. It is a rip-off! If I could I would give a "minus star" rating. Deceptive pricing leads you to assume you are paying a Canadian Company Canadian dollars. It is only when you get the bill that you see you've been charged in U.S. dollars. Products are shipped from China, and you have to pay duty on Customs.
