*** has reviewed the complaint and would like to hereby state the following. *** *** signed up for a two year contract with guaranteed 10% savings over *** during the first two months. This is a standard introductory program. After the first two months,
the remainder of the term is based on then current market conditions. *** made no claim of savings beyond the first two months. A customer's recourse is that they are free to break their contract without penalty or fee. The calculations offered by *** *** do not consider that *** would have been charging him for natural gas supply as well, or that *** did not guarantee any equal amount of cost to ***.

To Whom It May Concern:YEP Energy enrolled  Mr. Wildauer on a 24 month plan.  The plan guaranteed a 10% over PG&E for the first two months of service.  Following the first two months, YEP Energy served the customer based on market prices and the necessary expenses of providing...

such natural gas.  YEP Energy never claimed to save the customer money over the course of the contract, following the introductory period.  Additionally, YEP would appreciate if the customer did calculate his savings, as PG&E bills the customer a natural gas supply charge, but also issues "procurement credits" that are a part of the program.  YEP Energy would like to see such calculations, including the procurement credits, in order to move further on this complaint.  The product that the customer enrolled with had no early termination fee, and as a part of the enrollment, this was known.  If the customer was unhappy with the rate that was being procured, the customer had the right to cancel the contract without penalty.  The customer did not do so until recently, some two years following the enrollment.Many times bills escalate in the winter months due to more consumption.  YEP Energy would also like the customer to consider this prior to submitting further information.Should there be any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask.Thank you,Christian B[redacted]YEP [email protected]
