Review: Horrible experience. I used them for about two years. My business income declined. Then I checked my call tracking on my [redacted] service and discovered recordings of customers waiting as long as 4.5 minutes to talk to a live person. Baffling that an answering service can't answer phones. I offered to settle my last bill at half price and they declined.Desired Settlement: Refund of last months bill + fees $518.06 I paid to their collection agency

We were notified by the client on 4/*/13 that she wished to cancel her service related to hold times. She did not indicate any further or provide any details to our rep. This was the first we had heard from her in a year and we were unaware of any issues or complaints regarding her service.
Client chose to ignore the final invoice for usage on her account and as a result was submitted to collections. We were never contacted with any settlement offers or requests for adjustments to the invoice.
Client only filed a complaint after she was contacted by a collections agency for payment on the account.

I spoke with [redacted] when I cancelled the plan, and when I received my final bill, I sent it in with a note about my dissatisfaction with the service. I contacted them two times in two different formats stating that I should not have to pay the bill. Then when I was contacted by their collections lawyer, he stated he would try to come up with some sort of a reduction in payment, but North Shore Answering Service declined to come to some sort of a settlement.

This client clearly has her version that she is going to insist on even though it does not match our records. As the balance is relatively small, we will settle the account for half of the amount owed.

Since I have already paid in full, I assume this response means I will be receiving a payment from North Shore Answering Service for half the balance. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
