Flowers were delivered to my wife as condolence for the passing of her Mother The flowers may have been beautiful when they were arranged but were not by the time we found them sitting in the sun on the front porch When I saw what was intended to cheer her up was actually a wilting poorly presented bunch of flowers I called the number listed on the card The phone was answered as "hello" I inquired as to whether this was North Scottsdale Floral and was told yes, that it was her cell phone I explained what had happened and asked that the flowers be replaced She began as defensive and said that she would call me the following morning She did call back and unfortunately I didn't get the chance to speak to the person, my wife answered the phone Afterwards she brought me the phone indicating that she had just hung up on an evil woman Apparently my wife was told that it was her own fault that the flowers were left on the front porch, that she should have been home if she expected a proper delivery, We were at the mortuary making plans for her mothers services The florist was called back and a younger lady answered I simply stated that I would like for them to pick up the horrible mess of flowers that were delivered, she said she didnt need the address, she knew who it was How they choose to run their business is completely up to them, doing right by a dissatisfied customer doesn't seem unreasonable Blaming my wife for their poor decision to leave the flowers on the porch instead of a neighbor or redelivery is unexcuseable and the reason for this post From this day forward I will return any and all deliveries made by North Scottsdale Floral
