Had a water leak, a major one with big daily loss- however wasn't showing on surface. Boyfriend w/some experience plumbing- checked out the leak, said it'd take real plumbers with equipment. Called a company- word of mouth said call Jeff. Gave me phone number. Jeff went to location, quoted price- $325.00 plus $13.00 credit card fee. Demanded credit card payment before doing job. Obliged- latter notified (no long after) job done, Water meter doesn't move. Reports in his 40+ years experience, he noticed the line will need replacing, there will be more leaks. (WTF- $325 to plug a little hole!!) I wasn't given the opportunity to say go ahead and replace the entire pipe...do it right the first time. Bill read $35 parts...two hours labor for two men-$290.00 ($145/hr x each man)
Did not clean up mess, meter still runs- have video showing the meter moves. This is not how to run a business!!!!!
