North County Auto Center

Sometime in January of 2020 I drove my truck to North County Auto Center going by (aka) Wash & Mart for a car wash for the FIRST TIME. After receiving my car. I got in to drive away and the Dodge Ram emblem on my steering wheel fell off after driving a half block down the road. I went back into the station attendant and asked for a manager. The attendant said the manager wasn't there, so I left my business card and cell phone number. My research with Jack Powell Dodge the cost to replace the Ram emblem was the cost of a major component of the steering wheel. NCAC/ Wash & Mart never called me, so I decided to use gorilla glue to glue the emblem back on. On June 27th I decided to give NCAC/ Wash & Mart a second chance as my truck needed a wash. On 6/27/20 was my SECOND TIME at the car wash. I was sitting in my truck while one of the employees was quickly drying my truck with rags. As I'm watching his rag gets stuck in my wiper and a corner piece of my wiper snaps off. I patiently watched and the employee gave up and tried to make it look like the wiper was in place. I got out and lifted my wiper and it fell apart. I immediately asked for a manager and a man by the name of "John" gives me a card and says just leave your information. He was rude and impatient and acted as if I was a nuisance. I asked him if someone would call me and he said yes. I asked for the name of the owners and he refused to tell me. I asked him for his last name (not on his card) and he refused. All the while I was trying to talk to him he kept talking with other people almost like nothing happened. I received two quotes from Jack Powell Dodge. One for $50 plus dollars for the original replacement and another for $26 plus dollars for a cheap replacement. NCAC/ Wash & Mart was rude and unprofessional. Originally I was ready to go through insurance at this point the quickest way to settle is a refund for my car wash which is almost the same as a cheap wiper. I will never go there again.

Called yesterday to see if they are currently open for business, was told yes. Went to the car wash today. Was not told prior to wash/payment that there would be any difference in services and was charged the normal amount that I pay at this car wash ($20.00). My vehicle was not vacuumed and after the car went through the wash was advised that only the outside of the vehicle would be wiped down and I would have to vacuum my own car due to virus concerns. I feel that this is a ripoff in that while I understand the virus precautions I was not told in advance that I would not receive full services (I would have left at that point) and to be charged full price for less than full service is wrong. For a 1/4 of that amount I could have gone to another automated car wash. This is dishonest business......I was not given the choice to refuse service as I was not informed of the reduction in service prior to services/payment. I will not go back to this car wash ever again and have posted this incident on *** and *** so that others do not have to deal with this issue/dishonesty
