Dear *** ***In regards to the complaint you received, we do regret that the customer was dissatisfied with the outcome. However, they are fully aware that they're taking advantage of National Running Center. I will admit that the e-mail advertisement failed to acknowledge
that there were exceptions to the offer, howbeit, if you select any *** product on our website it clearly states: "*** products qualify for our ** *** discount of 15% that is part of the annual membership. However, profit margins are extremely slim on all *** products from additional discounts.***" *** is the only item/brand that we excluded from offers (other than the cost of our ** ***) This exclusion has been posted on our web site for several years; it is not something that we crated in order to have a loop hole for this particular situation. *** *** is fully aware of this exclusion. In addition, ***'s are highly sought after by fraudulent parties. We are very cautious and speculative of every order that comes through for any *** product. We do everything we can to offer our customers the lowest prices on the best products. Orders that are placed with fraudulent intentions, that manage to slip under the radar, so to speak, along with those placed by customers such as *** ***, with the intent to demand the lowest sale price at any cost, would force us to raise our prices. *** *** is not a loyal customer. (His last order placed with us dates back to 2011) He is only interested in his own personal gain. We are small, family owned business employing approximately 15-full and part time people. We are doing our best to partake of the ever-increasing slim piece of commercial pie. That being said, we are willing to set aside our resentment in this situation, and offer *** *** the *** at the 35% off discounted price along with a ** *** Membership (for $19.99) AND a $Gift Card to National Running Center, good towards a future order. I will leave it up to you to relay this information to him. He may call our Customer Service line and speak with me directly. Thank you, Kind Regards Jan R. National Running Center
January 23, 2017Dear [redacted], Our previous offer still stands. We would be happy to fulfill the customer's original request. Please have him contact me directly.Kind Regards,
