Review: contractor received $4300 in cash to repair flat roof on my commercial building. He signed a Warranty and the roof leaked the very next rain storm. I called his number and he called back, but never came back. I called the main number and his brother called me back and said he would fix the problem, but still has not returnedDesired Settlement: fix the roof as per the Warranty

Response:
At this time, I have not been contacted by North American Roofing regarding complaint ID [redacted].
Sincerely,
Review: North American Roofing came into our neighborhood to drum up business and said they could seal and repair the cracks in our driveway for $475 (we paid cash so they charged $450). We agreed to have them perform the work and paid them in cash. They did perform the work, however, it was done beyond sub-par. They used oil-based sealant (w/o telling us they were going to use that) which made the driveway unbelievably shiny and did not fix the cracks in the driveway AT ALL. They said they would come to inspect the work, they never did. When we called to follow up, they said they would come out that weekend ([redacted] in October) and never did. After probably over 50 text messages, my husband got one of the brothers, [redacted] to speak to [redacted]'s) wife and said they would refund us half of our money. That was over 3 weeks ago and we didn't receive a check. My husband actually drove to the business's street address and there is no company there. When he searched online for them, he found the REAL North American Roofing company based out of one of the Carolina's. He sent all of the info to their HR department to report them, that they were using their likeness. We cannot get anyone to return our phone calls or text messages at this point and want to save other potential customers from them.Desired Settlement: They did agree to paying us back half our money ($225) and we have that commitment in a text message.
