Review: My husband and I ordered furniture for our nursery from Norman's in early March 2013. We paid in full for a dresser, crib, mattress and stroller and were told to expect the furniture in 10-12 weeks. That time frame has since come and gone as the anticipated delivery date should have been the second weekend in June. As the time drew near to expect the furniture I called weekly to assess the ETA of the furniture. Every time I called Norman's, I received a different excuse as to where the furniture was or why it had yet to arrive. I heard everything from the truck "hadn't gone out from the company headquarters in Georgia and when it did it would take an additional 7-10 days" to the drivers of the truck "we're gypsy drivers who didn't have a home" to "I have to see if they are still sending a truck". Each time I called I was told I would receive a call back within a specified amount of time to which this actually occurred once out of at least 7-10 times. Although I remained very polite throughout the conversations I let Normans know how disappointed I was in the customer service as clearly nothing has been done to expedite matters and ensure that our furniture was delivered as discussed when ordered and purchased. My mother has since gotten involved as she was appalled at the lack of service on Normans part and experienced the same run around with excuses and false promises of return phone calls, etc. I am now due next Saturday and do not expect to have furniture for our nursery which is ridiculous as again we place the order and paid in full in the beginning of March. My mother has requested compensation of some sort in order to try and rectify the situation and poor customer service on the part of Normans however Norman's has not once apologized or taken responsibility for anything during this whole experience.Desired Settlement: At this point we would really like our furniture delivered to our house at our convenience awith a refund on the delivery charge. Additionally, we feel as if we should be compensated for the lack of customer service and apparent lack of assistance on the part of Norman's when dealing with the company we ordered the furniture through.
