This letter is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** on May 18, 2015.*** complaint alleges that we falsely offered her a Temp to Hire position at Houghton Int'I. When *** was hired by Staffing Support Specialists (SSS) we did tell her that this was a Temp to
Hire positionShe would need to work with SSS for at least a day (minimum hours) period and after that the company would have the option to hire her on. At the time *** was hired by SSS, that was the direction we were planning. During her day period, Houghton Int'l issued the hiring freeze which no longer made *** eligible for the Temp to Hire opportunity with themAs a side note, they did not terminate her position, just reclassified her to long term temp.It was an unfortunate situation for *** but these types of things can happen as business conditions change.
