Nocking Point Wines

I was a coffee club subscriber on and off (they decided to stop shipping overseas at one point, and then resumed). In November 2019 I decided, due to escalating shipping costs and a general lack of value in their monthly coffee club boxes, to cancel my subscription. Nocking Point does not provide any avenue to do this online, or in the Accounts section of their website. They only allow for cancellations via email.

This was fine. I sent them an email asking to cancel my subscription, effective immediately. I did not get a response for 2 weeks. I sent a follow up email, to which one person said (after 4 days) that they would get back to me ASAP.

Then a payment was deducted from my credit card for a subscription that I had wanted to cancel three weeks ago. I sent another email, reiterating that I wanted to cancel my subscription, and to refund the money that they had taken from my account.

No response. I never did get the coffee box that they took the money out for either. In the end, due to the non-responsiveness (I sent a further 2 emails), I changed my credit card details on Nocking Point to that of an empty gift card so that they could no longer deduct payment from me.

It's now almost a year since my last email. I still have not received any correspondence from them. I still get monthly emails about my credit card being unable to be charged - which means they're STILL trying to take money from me even though it's almost been a YEAR since I expressed my intention to cancel my subscription.

Terrible company. If you go on their social media accounts, the number of complaints ranging from non-delivery of goods, to lack of customer service, is astounding. No idea how they think running a business this way is at all in their favour.
