Sick that he says veteran owned and supported. I understand the language that is sometimes tossed around in the military. I'm not ok with it, but I get it. This is real life, with unknown potential customers. I'm sure glad my wife, office admin or another woman I know didn't call him.
Its been two months and I'm getting ready to tackle this shop truck trans finally and back to researching my valve body options. Nexgen popped up again and I reread several of their articles. Did this guy have a ghost writer? Anyway, there's nothing on the website still regarding any complete valve bodies for the 5R110 and still listing the same Bulletproof DIY kit for $460, in stock.
Last red flag; they don't take paypal and the pay site has 65 active cookies, they only use SHOP PAY, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, or AFFIRM payment terms. This should be the biggest red flag. ALL scam companies on the internet use these payment options, leave out visa and mastercard direct, and NEVER offer Paypal. There's no recourse once they take your hard earned money. RUN!
I hope you read this, take it as a warning, and run the other way. This guy sounds like he knows what he's talking about but I honestly think he couldn't rebuild a transmission if he tried. I purchased a 47re valve body from him and after waiting six weeks it showed up in a box bubble wrapped with no paperwork. They put 48re electronics on it causing my truck to think the trans was over temp( no overdrive). After being told the wiring was bad I explained to him how a sensor worked. I drained out all the expensive trans fluid and sent it back so the electronics could be swapped. I sent the whole unit back as I was told it was a simple swap on my existing unit (one week turn around). After another five weeks of waiting I was sent back a 100% bare unit with absolutely nothing on it. Call / text nothing no response until I asked for a refund. Magically I got a response that the items I needed shipped. That was twelve days ago. I asked repeatedly for tracking. I called him a clown and he told me I was no longer going to be helped as I am unstable. I was blocked on his Facebook page. He swears like a truck driver on the phone and his company's phone number speaks for itself. This is a tiny company that is ran worse than the soviet union. You're the problem when you're having the problem with his company. Total fraud.
Total garbage, a virtually stock trucks breaks a shaft in less than 10,000 miles. Stock trans lasted over 150000. Guy is a total fraud, claims to have built 1000 in a year, that’s over 3 a day working every single day not to mention 10 million in sales but still uses another company for shipping and receiving. The guy lies for days and rips people off. Someone close to his area will hurt him bad when he rips the right one off. So many negatives in this that his lies and all will catch him in a lawsuit being filed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING SCAMMED
Bought a competition unit supposedly built to hold 1000 HP (untested, untrue) I sold the truck thankfully, but unfortunately for that individual it st out at not even 12k miles on completely stock power - only tuned with CTT. The buyer of my truck researched Nate and his business a little more thoroughly and didn't even trust sending it back to him. Of course when I sold the truck, Nate claimed the warranty was transferrable (yes I have proof), but when the guy who bought my truck inquired of course Nate tells him the opposite. I got lucky and didn't have to rebuild a $12,500 trans - and from the sounds of it warranty wouldn't have done me any good based on many other things I've heard. The trans is getting dug into by a reputable builder, and I can't wait to hear what was or was not found inside the trans. Definitely save yourself the head/heartache and don't buy from him. He talks a mean game, but by majority accounts he's a con artist.
This guys transmission lasted me 200 miles. Sent it back for warranty and same thing again. I’ve lost so many wages because I need my truck to work. He blamed it all on the wiring for my truck and then stole money from keeping my card info to pay for his google adds. Stay far away from this guy or get screwed like many others.
I bought a valve body from Next Gen. Installed it in my truck and had issues immediately. Sent it back and was given a new unit. I was too afraid to put the second one in my truck as the first one caused issues. So, I waited a few months and finally decided to ask if I could return it. Nate said no, so I decided to try my luck and put it in my truck anyway with hopes that it was better than the first unit. It wasn’t. It had the same issue as the first unit (torque converter wouldn’t unlock), so I took it out and sent it to a reputable transmission builder. They disassembled the unit, took photos and sent them to me. There are bolts missing, bolts installed out-of-square, and rust on the accumulator plate. As a manufacturing engineer, this is very disappointing. I offered to help as Next Gen’s quality control is clearly lacking or nonexistent, so I offered to bolster their means of checking parts. You can NEVER assume everything is correct. I was blown off. Seeing how this is the craftsmanship being sent out the door, I do not recommend buying from Next Gen.
Paid $15,250 with core charge and shipping for product that took almost 4 months to arrive. That transmission never made it out of the parking lot. Sent it back for warranty. The second transmission made it almost 400 miles before it started having problem. The owner blamed the wiring in my truck. So I replaced the whole wire harness and it still had all the same issues. Then the owner blew me off and quit replying to my messages. After sending the transmission out to another builder many things wrong we’re found internally. Don’t do business with Next Gen Diesel!

Bogus review. Did you write it yourself, wise guy?
