The above complaint was raised to my attention today, we do apologize in the delay in response. We originally submitted this claim to Tufts-Network Health on 3/9/20105. Tufts Network Health denied our claim on 4/7/2015 stating the patient is not eligible. our original bill had an incorrect ID number...

which is the reason why Tufts-network health denied the claim. We submitted the claim with the proper ID number to Tufts-Network-Health and at that time the claim was rejected for timely filing. Our process is to appeal the claim with the health insurance carrier but due to human error the account was billed to a member. We do apologize for this error and have reeducated the staff to insure this type of incident will not happen again. The account was submitted to the collection agency on 2/9/2016 but has been removed and we are now filing a timely appeal with the health insurance carrier. Again, we do apologize for the error and would like to insure the patient that we do not take situations like this lightly. The patient does not have any self pay balance outstanding at this time and may contact me with any additional questions they may have.
