Very bad it’s scam they don’t care about anything
The individual placing the review did not provide any information with respect to the specifics of their concerns and has not contacted Newtek to request assistance. Newtek takes Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction very seriously and have always strived to ensure our merchant clients are satisfied with the results.
As President of Newtek Merchant Solutions, I would like to speak with the business owner about their concerns and address the concerns.
I enrolled in Newtek card processing service. They sent me a card reader. After four phone calls involving over two hours of time and two disconnects they could not get the reader activated. I told them to disregard and requested a refund, cancellation of service, and a return shipping label for the reader. Several phone calls and e-mails since then - no refund, no return shipping label, no response from Newtek.
Dear Sir/Madam:Newtek contacted me and advised me they did not charge me for their service so no refund is necessary. They also have since provided me with a mailing label and I returned the unused card reader. The problem I had was communications breakdowns with the company Newtek contracts with regarding the card reader. Accordingly, please close/remove my complaint against Newtek. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
I have tried to cancel this account since SEPTEMBER. I switched to a local company, but have been refused multiple times. I was told that I was under contract and could not close it. I requested any info on my phantom contract and was hung up on. After that I could not get anyone to answer the phone when I called multiple times.
After months of getting transferred and put on hold only to have nobody answer, I finally got in touch with a person named Yalian Vidal. She confirmed that I am not under any contract and just needed to sign and fax a form to cancel. 2/26/18 I received and sent it back a few days later. It is 04/05/18 All communication has stopped.
I have been charged $41.95 a month SINCE SEPTEMBER.
Newtek’s merchant customer is TAKE FIVE DELI, LLC, for which *** is listed as the owner.
Newtek documents every contact originating either in writing or verbally from our customer base in the comments / records keeping ur customer.
Take Five Deli, LLC with *** as the owner claims they have been calling since September to cancel but there are no notes in regards to that or documentation. February 26, 2018 was the first record of a call and the merchant account was closed on April 4th when the written closure letter was received.
Take Five Deli, LLC and its owner *** had the opportunity to call and would have been asked to send a letter requesting the closure. Considering the requirement to enter notes with each call to Customer Service and the first note being February 26, 2018, we are willing to provide refunds for the past three monthly service fees if found acceptable by the business owner.
