Review: Newport entered into an agreement and part of that contract was to satisfy previous lien. Payments were not satisfied on previous lien, nor was copier returned. We are now paying two liens.Desired Settlement: Payments returned that were paid to Key bank and satisfy all payments and return of copier

Response:
The customer has to get the return instructions from the leasing company (bank). The bank will not release them to any third party. The customer must then forward those instructions to us. Once that is done we will be able to contact the bank and take care of any outstanding monies due. If customer has any questions they may call our offices at any time for assistance with this process. There must be some misunderstanding here.
Sincerely.
Review: I am leasing a copier/printer from Newport Business Solutions. Clearly stated on the contract is that they will store my prior printer free of charge, refund me $30 per month (over a 60 month period) for the return of a folding machine, and the way in which I will get billed for the service of the new machine is by a pay per click meter reading (all black and white prints over 150,000 will cost .0085 per copy and all color prints over 60,000 will cost .049) this is over the 60 month lease contract that includes all toner, consumables and service. Newport has been sending me bills for toner & consumables that are supposed to be included in the contract - I contacted [redacted]) and he is telling me that I have been using too much toner, I mentioned to him that it is not in the contract. I in turn sent him a letter with an outline of all that he owes me - I performed printing and design work for his business that I haven't received payment on ($1,468.59), $30 a month that they owe me over 60 months ($1,800.00) and the return of my prior printer. I also contacted my attorney who told me to inform him that I will get a court order for the return of my printer. I received a hostile email from [redacted] telling me to send the court order to his attorney. As of now, I have my attorney in contact with his - Newport Business is demanding that I pay them $1,500 out of the alleged $2,300 that they claim I owe them. I am refusing to pay them anything for bogus invoices and [redacted] is completely dodging the fact that he owes me any money and would still not release my printer. Additionally, for the last 2 years that I have been serviced by Newport, the printer has constantly been breaking down and the technicians are inadequate. As of October 2013, I stopped using the machine and had 2 outside sources look over the copier - both agreed that the machine has never been serviced properly and that is why it continually breaks down.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my prior printer (Konica-Minolta BizHub) released so that I can have it picked up and $1,800.00 folding machine refund.
