New York New York Haircutters

Review: I made an appointment on Thursday, June [redacted] at New York New York Haircutters to have my naturally blonde hair colored (to blend away the grey) and to be streaked for the summer. My stylist/colorist there is named [redacted]. I've been going to her for about 5 years if not longer. I brought a photo of Jennifer Anniston with me to show her exactly what I wanted. She applied the bleach to my hair using foils. When she finished,I did not have her blow my hair dry because it was a warm day. When my hair dried, I was in NJ shopping and I realized that 1) my hair was not streaked, it was a brassy blonde on one side and a much darker color on the other side. It did not look anything like the photo that I had shown [redacted]. She had put streaks in my hair on previous occasions. I phoned the salon immediately and spoke with [redacted] who told me [redacted] had left for the day & that she'd tell her to call me the next am at 10. She didn't call so I phoned and was told that [redacted] was with a client and couldn't speak with me but would call me as soon as she was finished. She never called. I looked horrible and had an engagement the next day, so had to go to a well known Salon in Brookloyn called Pilo Arts to get corrective coloring. New York New York charged me $150, plus I tipped [redacted] $10 as well as paying a $26 toll to cross the Verrazano Br. from Brooklyn to Staten Island. I then had to pay $106 to Pilo Arts for corrective coloring plus a $15 tip to their stylist. The total which I had to lay out for all of this with correction is $297 and that is the amount for which I'm seeking recompense from New York New York.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund plus reimbursement of the other expenses I incurred because of [redacted]'s carelessness and cavalier attitude in not calling me back and not taking my phone call when I called the salon and expressed (nicely) that I was desperate because my hair did not turn out well.
