Without any notice my three contract with New Wave Energy was cancelled. I received a notice from Peco Energy that I chose to switch back to them (I did no such thing). I've contacted New Wave Energy without receiving any reply as to the reason why.
Response: Customer signed into a fixed rate agreement and was charged according to the contract rate. Customer did receive a copy of the executed agreement outlining the terms and conditions of our agreement, and at her request did receive an additional copy. As New Wave Energy Corp
furnished the agreed upon fixed rate price we would consider this complaint closed & resolvedRegards, James ***
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowNew Wave Energy did give me a copy of the contract for a fixed rate. A photocopy of the front page only, showing a buffalo sabre skating and a checked off box that says 'yes, I want to save up to 15% on my energy bills!' That is what I signed. I did not receive a copy of the back of the contract with the terms and conditions. When I complained, one was emailed to me but is so light it is impossible to read. I tried to read it online, but that too is not possible. I could forward that to you, but you will not be able to read it. The contract I signed insinuates that I will save money on my energy bills - up to 15%! My bills have been a great deal higher with New Wave than what was charged by National Grid. I do not accept that they are doing business in good faith. I repeat that I would like to be released from this misleading contract. Their response that they purchased product based on my contract - again, if they have so many large companies as customers, the little bit of money they would lose on me is nothing for them, but a great deal for my small company. I repeat that anyone who does business with them needs to do research before believing their misleading sales pitch. Thank you. Susan ***
