Great moversFriendly, professional and quality serviceI couldn't ask for anything better!

Outstanding serviceWe couldn't have asked for a more friendly, cooperative, and hard working crew That did EXACTLY what was required and in a most efficient manor

Ms [redacted] did contract moving services from Interior Moving for July 30, Ms [redacted] did not have an in-home estimate, but she was quoted the rates Her move was completed on the day requested Ms [redacted] called our office the next day Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Ms***'s move did not go as smoothly as it should haveOne of our employees (who has been released and has charges pending against him) gave Ms [redacted] a proposal to save her money He requested she pay less for her services including cash to him Ms***'s total bill should have come $minus the $deposit for a total due of $on the day of her move The gentleman asked Ms [redacted] to pay $(she paid by check) and $cash This is not how Interior Moving does business with any customer Ms [redacted] was immediately reimbursed for the cash she paid to the mover She also was not billed for the remaining balance of her move, due to the aforementioned incident Ms [redacted] also filed a damage report with our office The insurance she signed for was $per pound per item The damages were assessed Her damages were initially that the stove would not work (it is an inherent device, but we checked into it; it was the gas line - not something we were responsible for) and the base of her entertainment center (a pressboard piece of furniture, movers are not generally responsible for - a waiver was signed by Ms***) In lieu of the situation, Interior Moving said we would take care of the damages A repair date was scheduled Due to a staffing shortage (one of a 2-person office team was in the hospital), Ms***'s appointment had to be rescheduled A message was left on her voicemail, as to the next available date She responded via text that evening, that we took too long to contact her (day) and she had it repaired herself She was also reimbursed for the repairs, based on her verbal statement of costs

On May 7, 2014; Ms*** was given an estimate for packing and moving services, based on the information given to the estimator during the in-home meeting Her estimate was for hours of packing including drive time plus materials; and hours of moving including travel & drive time As explained to each of our customers, sometimes a moving assignment may run higher or lower than projected, and that a fair and accurate estimate is provided.
On the day of the pack May 27, 2014, Ms*** decided that the pack was taking longer than she wanted and sent the packer back to the office after hours On the day of Ms***'s move May 28, 2014; the move did run longer than her estimate She was moved from a 3rd floor apartment with an elevator to a 4th floor apartment with an elevator As in any move that involve elevators, there is a variable factor that
the moving company cannot control. IMS
assures that we will move the furniture and items as quickly as the
elevators will allow
Ms*** chose the standard insurance of $per pound per item Based on the insurance choice, we would be responsible for just that We are trying to work to get her items repaired, which will be more than the cost we are required to give her based upon her choice
We when spoke to Ms*** about her damages, she stated all of the damages were made by the movers In any claim case, we have to validate the claim Ms***'s pictures clearly showed some prior damage to the furniture.
We spoke to the crew and they were not aware they had left the items on the dock The crew leader was also unaware that a table was broken We have asked Ms*** about a replacement value, even though we understand sentiment can not be replaced

I filed a complaint a long time ago, and I was told that you had not gotten response from the Interior Moving Services about my complaint and you then said that you would be reaching out by phoneI have not gotten reply to my requestsPlease adviseI feel that this company has unlawfully obtained
my business by tricking me with a low bid and they did not meet commitment or expectations and they cost me more than $ more than what they estimated for the jobThey broke items and did not even bring them to my attention and damaged othersI sent photos and emails to this company and requested reimbursementI told them I was not interested in someone coming in to touch up my furnitureI need more than that to repair and replace what we lost - both in signing them on and in them doing the job. I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE! PLEASE RESPOND! I hope I do not have to take this request to the State Attorney General

***, I wanted to provide you with an update from
the company. I was given $by the company for the repairs to my broken items. I paid to get my shelf in usable condition and *** promised me she would get it repaired like newMy clothes washing machine was repaired with a two dollar bead I hot from a used Alliance warehouse and my machine works but it is extremely loud and both items were in above average condition until the company moved my items. I am truly hurt by the negligence of this company I lost priceless items and they basically said suck it up. Sincerely, *** ***

On Sunday, August 2, 2015; Interior Moving moved the *** During the move, we were unable to move a dresser up the stairs at the new home The movers left the dresser on the first floor Ms
*** called and stated that her and husband were able to move the dresser upstairs She also stated it was damaged I explained to her that I was not sure we were still liable for the damage since someone else moved it She also said she was missing some screws to her son's bunkbed I offered to send someone out to replace the screws and take a look at the dresser Ms*** said "Why would I have anyone from your company come to my house to do anything else." I explained to her that since it was just screws we would just come out and see which type were needed and replace them I also explained that the dresser would be looked at by a professional wood repair person Ms*** said, "Again why would l have any one affiliated with your company come and do anything." Those were her options considering the nature of the supposed damages Ms*** then asked for money for compensation Naomi M*** General Manager Interior Moving Services, Inc###-###-#### phone
###-###-#### fax

We would like to answer the various accusations and try to reach a fair compromise.
On May 7, 2014; *** (an IMS estimator) went to Ms***'s home to do an estimate for packing and moving services During that time *** & Ms***, discussed what was to be moved about and providing packing services *** provided Ms*** based upon their discussion, with an estimate of the following:
men and a truck for hours plus travel time for moving services
man for hours including travel time for packing services
Approximately $for packing materials
This information was mailed to Ms*** along with a statement that reads, "Our estimators are highly qualified and possess years of experience On occasion, a moving assignment may run higher than projected Other times, the actual cost is lower than the estimate You have our personal guarantee that we will use every resource at our disposal to insure that an accurate and fair estimate has been provided." On page of the NYS Shippers Manual given to Ms***, it states, "DON'TBelieve that any estimate or statement of probable cost given by a mover, except a written binding estimate, will be the actual cost of your move." Estimating is not an exact science There are many variables that can affect a local move, including information shared IMS does over 1, mover and deliveries a year We always strive to provide an honest and fair quote, as can be attested by the number of mover we yearly, as well as the number of repeat residential and commercial business throughout the years.
In response to Ms***'s letter:
FACT: THE JOB DID GO OVER THE ESTIMATE, for whatever reason Ms*** said she received an estimate for $higher than IMS' The actual job went $over our estimate Therefore, we are offering a refund of $to Ms*** for the overage without knowing how long it would have actually taken the other movers to do the same job
FACT: Ms*** was estimated, not promised, the packing would take approximately hours for the amount discussed At the end of hours, Ms*** told our packer he had to stop (our employee was willing to continue) because she had other commitments
FACT: We moved all the furniture and items from the pick up address to the drop off address The homeowner does a walk-through before we leave to make sure we have all items ready to go
FACT: Furniture is wrapped once it gets to the truck Moving companies don't leave the moving pads on the furniture when carrying items in and out of the house because they need to grip the furniture The movers did pile items into bins because there were a lot of loose items not packed
FACT: IMS handled Ms***';s items with care We did see pictures, after the move, from Ms*** which showed some scratches (both old and new) At the time of the estimate, *** gave Ms*** a NYS Shippers Manual On page 13, is a customer's insurance options, which was also explained during the estimate and before the move with Ms*** The option Ms*** chose and signed off on I the option where she does not pay anything extra for insurance This option means that the mover's legal liability is $per pound per article Even though, Ms*** took no additional insurance, IMS was willing to send a repair person to assess the damage and attempt the appropriate repairs The repair person has not heard back from Ms***, as of today
IMS is open to the attempt to make repairs and will refund $404.86, if this is acceptable with Ms***We all realize that moving is stressful and that people deal with the event differently On the notes generated during the estimate, *** wrote that this client is very "picky" and was trying to control the moving process, before we even got the jobWe are sorry for all parties involved that this move did not go as smooth, as we all would like We would like to cooperate to come to a fair compromise We also do like being slandered in print, and do not deserve such treatment from the complainant

[redacted],Thank you so much for dealing with my complaint as I see that Revdex.com will be closing the account stating that it hasn't been resolved , however it hasn't been I did not appreciate the fact that they stated it took them one day to address my issues and I rushed and did the repairs myself. It took them the better part of two weeks or more and they didn't give me financial credit for time using there services. The movers hung around for the better part of an 1 1/2 cleaning up the truck and as I stated before they took numerous breaks and what I am grateful for is I have several witnesses from family and friends to the new property manager of the house who can provide statements to the fact that they hung around for an extended amount of time blocking the driveway. I also informed the company of the time they left as well as to the fact that it wasn't due to them providing any service at that time. As for my shelf that was made of compressed wood yes I signed a waiver but the damage that came to the shelf was done as a result of the movers mishandling the piece of furniture and them they eased it into the home and placed it against the wall in an attempt to hide the fact that they busted the bottom off and if it was something that had happened as a result of the shelf being weak they wouldn't have hidden it. I have come to the conclusion that they provided a terrible service and they weren't willing to take responsibility for it but I want it known what terrible service physically and customer service wise that they provided a paying customer. They may have terminated the male employee who really did something against company Policy but the company didn't do anything to ensure the happiness of the consumer. So yes it was resolved unsatisfactory. Sincerely,  [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] did contract moving services from Interior Moving for July 30, 2014.  Ms. [redacted] did not have an in-home estimate, but she was quoted the rates.  Her move was completed on the day requested.  Ms. [redacted] called our office the next day.  Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Ms. [redacted]'s move did not go as smoothly as it should have. One of our employees (who has been released and has charges pending against him) gave Ms. [redacted] a proposal to save her money.  He requested she pay less for her services including cash to him.   Ms. [redacted]'s total bill should have come $930.00 minus the $372.00 deposit for a total due of $588.00 on the day of her move.  The gentleman asked Ms. [redacted] to pay $344.00 (she paid by check) and $90.00 cash.  This is not how Interior Moving does business with any customer.  Ms. [redacted] was immediately reimbursed for the cash she paid to the mover.  She also was not billed for the remaining balance of her move, due to the aforementioned incident.   Ms. [redacted] also filed a damage report with our office.  The insurance she signed for was $0.30 per pound per item.  The damages were assessed.  Her damages were initially that the stove would not work (it is an inherent device, but we checked into it; it was the gas line - not something we were responsible for) and the base of her entertainment center (a pressboard piece of furniture, movers are not generally responsible for  - a waiver was signed by Ms. [redacted]).   In lieu of the situation, Interior Moving said we would take care of the damages.  A repair date was scheduled.  Due to a staffing shortage (one of a 2-person office team was in the hospital), Ms. [redacted]'s appointment had to be rescheduled.  A message was left on her voicemail, as to the next available date.  She responded via text that evening, that we took too long to contact her (1 day) and she had it repaired herself.  She was also reimbursed for the repairs, based on her verbal statement of costs.

Outstanding service. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly, cooperative, and hard working crew.

That did EXACTLY what was required and in a most efficient manor.

I had a great experience with Interior moving services everyone was very professional. They were on time, they were polite, and anything that I asked them to do they did it without complaining. I will definitely use Interior's again.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Here are my comments = Facts: According to our contract this company failed to fulfill the contract we signed AND THEY HAVE FAILED COMPLETELY TO ANSWER THIS COMPLAINT.
 1. I received an estimate that I believed was offered in good faith.
FACT - it was NOT a good faith estimate, but it was instead a low-ball estimate to get me to accept the job from them.
FACT - THE MOVERS HAD ACCESS TO MY BUILDING, APARTMENT AND ALL ITEMS TO MAKE A COMPLETE ASSESSMENT. THE ESTIMATE WAS DONE BY THEM. IT WAS NOT BASED ONLY ON INFORMATION PROVIDED MY ME.
FACT - THIS JOB ENDED UP COSTING US ABOUT $600 MORE THAN WHAT THE COMPANY ESTIMATED (ALMOST TWICE AS MUCH!!)
FACT - If I had selected the higher estimate company to do this job, it would have costed us about $200 more than Interior Moving's estimate.
2. They promised to pack the entire house in 4 hours.
FACT: they did not pack the entire house, and I had to ask them to leave when it got late, 5 hours into the job.
FACT: They did not provide enough boxes and packing materials, and the packing they did was NOT COMPLETE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL.
3. They promised to move all contents of my home to another.
FACT: they DID NOT move all contents of my home to another. I HAD TO COMPLETE THE MOVE MYSELF - INCLUDING MOVING AN ENTIRE CLOSET FULL OF HANGING CLOTHES AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OVER THE TWO DAYS FOLLOWING THE MOVE.
4. They promised to wrap all items BEFORE putting them on the truck and while moving.
FACT: They did not wrap all items, and those that were wrapped were only loosely blanket wrapped. Blankets came off and when they carried items in and out they WERE NOT wrapped.
FACT: THEY PILED ITEMS IN BIG BINS, AND THEY WERE NOT CAREFUL IN HOW THINGS WERE PLACED/PACKED.
5. They promised that the furniture and items would be safe.
FACT: They scratched furniture and broke items and did not disclose that they had done so. THEY LIED AND LEFT THE ITEMS ON LOADING DOCK.
6. They promised to carry all items into my residence.
FACT: There were items left on the loading dock, including a broken hand-made table (gift from my husband) which matched another that he made.
FACT: They left an entire box of valuable comic books and graphic novels (my son's collection) on the loading dock, and did not make me aware of it.
FACT: It was only brought to my attention a day or two later following the move - when my landlord mentioned there were some things down there -  that there were items left on the loading dock.
THIS COMPANY LIED ABOUT THE ESTIMATE, LIED ABOUT WHAT THEY WOULD COMPLETE, LIED ABOUT WHAT THEY WOULD PROVIDE (MATERIALS - WHICH I HAD TO PAY FOR), LIED ABOUT BREAKING AND DAMAGING THINGS, LIED ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY ASKED ME QUESTIONS AND ABOUT THEIR PROMISES TO CALL ME BACK WITH A RESOLUTION, LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING.
I DO NOT WANT THEIR PEOPLE TO COME TO MY HOME TO FIX SCRATCHES. I DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY DAMAGED AND BROKE THINGS AND LIED TO ME!! THEY USED UNFAIR AND WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE UNLAWFUL PRACTICES TO OBTAIN MY BUSINESS. THEIR ESTIMATE, BASED ON WHAT HAPPENED HERE, WAS UNPROFESSIONAL, INDICATING THAT THEY INTENDED TO CHEAT ME AND THEIR PEOPLE ARE ENTIRELY UNQUALIFIED TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ESTIMATES LEAVING CUSTOMERS ENTIRELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!! I AM ASKING FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF $400 FOR THE BAD ESTIMATE AND $200 FOR THE DAMAGES AND BROKEN ITEMS. I HAVE ASKED FOR REIMBURSEMENT BEFORE AND IT HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED EVER (THEY HAVE NEVER CALLED ME BACK TO DISCUSS), AND IT WAS NOT IN THEIR RESPONSE HERE. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS.I AM PREPARED TO SECURE A LAWYER AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE NYS ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE IF THE RESPONSE TO THIS DOES NOT MEET MY NEEDS, RIGHTS AND EXPECTATIONS. I AM ALSO PREPARED TO SPEAK WITH THE MEDIA ABOUT IT, ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAVE READ OTHER COMMENTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY THAT MIRROR MINE. I CAN PROVIDE PHOTOS RELATED TO THE DAMAGES ETC. BUT I WILL DO THAT VIA EMAIL, SINCE THIS SYSTEM IS NOT RECOGNIZING THE FILE THANK YOU Revdex.com FOR MANAGING THIS PROCESS. Regards,  [redacted]

The business called to say to that there last response had a typo in the last line, it should state "Do Not" intstead of "Do".

Great movers. Friendly, professional and quality service. I couldn't ask for anything better!
