Was surprised when I got the call but I did remember the debt. They worked with me and set me up on a reasonable payment plan. After my final payment I received all of my documents as they promised. At first I thought this was a scam but after further investigation and verifying the debt I realized they they are real and I did not want to go to court. I am leaving this message for anyone that is skeptical on paying with them. They are real, and pretty nice people!

Called trying to collect a t mobile debt that was 13 years old. Obviously this company doesn’t read nor comprehend laws seeming there is a statute of limitations. Bug someone else douche bag.

Same experience as other reviewers. This company is shady as the day is long. Obviously buys old debt (i.e., way beyond the Statute of Limitations) and attempts to collect on it by telling the customer that a complaint has been filed when in fact, none has. (Clear violation of the FDCPA.) When you call them out on this shady practice, they hang up on you. Nice job New Star. You suck.

They call the older people ask for social security number and birthday with out explaining the situation!!!
