This man is just trying to get money from me which he is not gettingI rectified the situation by bringing him a second delivery of seasoned firewood at no chargeThe wood is seasoned and yes it is varied in widths at lengths between 14-inchesAgain, I welcome you to come look at my operation so you can see for yourselves the quality product I am putting outAgain, this has been the only complaint and he gladly took the extra seasoned firewood free of charge.
Thank you
To whom it may concern: I did deliver this gentleman a cord of seasoned firewood to his home. I later recieved a text saying it wasn't a full cord. I know it was a full cord, I have sold firewood for years and have a very reliable measurement system. I have not received...
any complaints. I told this customer I will bring out more wood to keep him happy and he accepted. I dropped off a second load and then he began to complain about the size of the logs. The wood is varied in sizes and log lengths between 14-18 inches.
I would welcome you to come down and look at my operation and see for yourselves that my firewood is great quality, seasoned and split.
Like I already said, when he reached out to me I rectified the situation with an extra delivery at no charge to the customer to keep him satisfied and will not be refunding any money. I have not received any other complaints and stand behind my product.
Thank you
Review: On September 1 2015 I took delivery of one cord of firewood from Andrew M[redacted] of AM Landscaping. After insisting on a cash only transaction I paid for the firewood and subsequently noticed several issues with the firewood. First, the wood was not seasoned as promised. Second, the sizes pieces of the pieces were grossly inconsistent ranging from very tiny scraps to several pieces 8" thick. Lengths were inconsistent as well from 10" to 21". Third, after stacking the wood, it was apparent he sold me less then a full cord, short by approximately 10 cubic feet. I estimate that I will have to re-split about half of the wood which will need to season further in order to burn effectively. I asked Andrew for a partial refund, but he refuses to compromise.Desired Settlement: Since I will need to re-split this firewood and let it season for several months, I would like to be reimbursed half of what I paid Andrew, which was $250. Due to the amount of labor required for this I feel half is fair.
