Review: 7/19/2014 I signed contract with David C[redacted] newlife4homes@[redacted].com, the owner, to replace 900 sq. feet of old carpet with hard floor in living room. He promised to buy all materials and provide the receipts (I did not get them until now although I asked several times). The first surprise was that it took only several hours to install the floor. However, everything looked good and they left. I paid David $1,760 for materials from [redacted] and $3,960 for labor or $6.36 per sq. foot. I think that is good price for engineering floor (7mm lament) and I hoped to get great floor. I was happy for couple of weeks only. David left for vacation and I had huge problem, BUCKLING (ballooning) crossed the room. This buckling was so severe that people tripped over a bump. I think the installers made mistakes or were not real professionals at all. And the most rough fact they refused to take responsibility for their mistakes! I immediately informed David. The first his reaction on 25/08/2014 was positive, The problem looks like moisture. If thats the case we may have to pull the entire floor and put a different padding down. The next Davids email on 26/08/2014 was I understand my flooring guys didnt do a great job but im ultimately responsible and will take care of it upon my arrival to VA and gave advise to watch her step.David came back on 31/08/2014 and stopped answering my calls and emails. I called his people who installed the floor. It is rather better not to put here their words. In short, they refused to fix the floor for any money and to have any deal with David who, by their words, cheated them with payments.Desired Settlement: Pay for replacement of hard floor
